Ayah! Thanks for showcasing my hometown, the place that I grew up as a child in the 70s. There is no place quite like Marshall anywhere in Liberia. It's good to see Mr. Gbargaye! His children and I grew up together. Marshall is much transformed, and it makes me very happy. Hello to all my Marshall people! Miss and love you all!
@@bbalderston125 Definitely agree! It's a shame that such a pristine paradise has not received the attention it deserves under successive administrations over the years. It's a hidden gold mine in plain sight for the country!
Ah ya I know this brings bk so many memories for you. Nothing like home indeed! Ever thought of going bk home, somedays? Question, any idea if the war hit Marshall city at all? Don’t look like it but I’m not sure. Curious to know
@@MegaLadylove2012 Yes, Lisa, so many wonderful memories, I tell you! I long so much to go back home. You're right! No place like home, ever! Sadly, Marshall was very badly hit by the war. We lost many who were dear to us, including schoolmates and childhood friends. Also, the Ghanaian fishing community there was terribly affected. We lost many that we grew up knowing, particularly prominent leaders of that community. Thankfully, it seems like out of the ashes and misery of war, Marshall has risen to be a hot tourist attraction and prime real estate development destination. It is an awesomely beautiful place with very kind, friendly, and hospitable people.
We only see the bad part of Liberia. Now Immanuel is showing us real people and real ground. Yes there was war but there's no war now. Africa is Rising. I need to visit Liberia. Who is willing to host? -African brother from Kenya-

Marshall could be the "Annapolis of Liberia" with the 2 big rivers coming together and going to the sea. It has Maritime and is scenic.
