From Tanzania 🇹🇿, growing up i had a friend called Samweli( Samuel in swahili) he used to tell us a story of how his namesake Samuel Doe was brutally killed. That got me interested in Liberian history and to this day I've read and watched many documentaries about this beautiful country. I hope to visit Monrovia in the near future. You are doing an amazing job bro, I've subscribed.

Folks, those of you suggesting to turn this ruined bldg into school, clinic, or hotel, please remember one point about properties in Liberia.
Private land ownership right (foreign idea) brought to Liberia by free black American slaves and indigenous communal land ownership right coexist and run side by side in Liberia. So this property is a private property and is governed by such law. If the family do not sell it, develop it, lease it, or donate it, no one else nor the government can do anything about this ruined building and all the similar ones for Tubman, Doe, Taylor, Kroma featured on the channel

Thanks for the initiative.. it's a great piece of work. I have a recommendation for your team. I think you should send Communications to the people in charge of properties before visiting them. Asking for their consent to visit and film these historically essential locations for the modification and enrichment of the Liberian history.
Meanwhile, asking them to make available a guide. Someone who is historically informed about such place.
In that case, you would have the chance to capture an indepth and detailed presentation of the place with the help of the guide. Also considering the look and appearance of people that you include in the recording.
For the sake of easy publicity and marketing reasons, make sure that you all are very well attired before being recorded. For Liberians were known as some of the best in Africa and the world at-large for elegance and class. That has to be rebirth and these are some of the best medium through which such display can be made, so please utilize it.
That will make your presentation more professional, easily admired, easily acceptable and completely understandable to even people who are not Liberian but has curiosity about Liberia.
Remember that what you're creating now are materials that will modify and add relevance to the Liberian history for the use of the next generation.
With that being said, give it your all and make it the best you possibly can. Thanks for your understanding and we are watching.

I was expecting the cameraman to zoom the wall more closely so we can see the wall tiles clearly, even the floor tiles.

The walls seem like they were sprayed with texture, the same way contractors would spray drywalls or gypsum boards with texture mud

It just shows how disorganized this country is, the State or the current government can still renovate the building and use it as a tourist attraction, hence making money out of it, for the benefit of the community around the same area, but an African is an African 20 to 35 years down the line, still waiting for a white man to come and tell them what to do with the building.
