Thank you!
I work my ass off, watch this and feel like I'm lazy.
Me as well friend
Agree with You 💯🤣
..and this is why Allan has a mountain fortress, and we..do ...not. Even with all his junk.. he is rich in so many ways. /# bow Allan.. keep doing you my man.
I wish I had millions of dollars so I could come and help you dig up all that stone, can't wait to see the Mtn Fortress all complete.
You won’t live long enough to.
Told my other half hold on I’m watching wizard work his ram
She jus sighs and rolls her eyes.😅
It’s Been stupid hot here in North Carolina . You are truly a man that can fix most any thing . Be safe working that heavy equipment alone . I have said many time it so easy to get hurt .
Yes it is. Im trying to be more nocturnal here in NC.😂 its been deadly hot all over. The ground is super crunchy and that stinks. Water is a complete blessing. The water issues in other specific states are crucial.
You need to get a magnetic mount for the GoPro. You work around enough metal structures and equipment you can just stick it down anywhere.
I was thinking that too, like the set up Welker farms has. It’s a mag base, handle and extra battery.
You must be one of the hardest workers on the planet.
My guess is that once you plugged one leak the pressure goes to the other leaks and the weakest goes next. Hopefully the radiator and ram fixes will do it! Thank you for your videos.
Great point. I have very little common sense so I appreciate when it's taught to me. I always said if they wrote a book or taught a class on common sense I would be all set. Haha.
We use to seal of the bottom of those oilcoolers and even radiators when I was a kid with lead. Then after they started banning lead, we use brass, and propane torch.
Gotta admire your tenacity, Alan. A lesser man would have given up by now, with the volume of work still ahead of you and it doesn't seem to faze you. Keep it up, love your work.
As always, a Herculean Effort from The Wizard !!
The progress on the fortress looks fantastic! Can't wait to see the finished project... 💪
Watching you tackle one thing after another is very inspiring. Thanks!
Dam Allen you always manage to amaze me with what you single handedly attempt, and surprisingly enough are able to accomplish. Well done, Sir. Very impressive.
Wizard!
For a man to do all that you do sometimes by yourself is amazing.
Most would not even try to do that alone or even 2 people.
You're very talented man with knowledge you have not even shown us yet.
Sometimes I wish you would tell us about yourself because you had to have a good job to build The Mountain Fortress.
Love how you think and how you are not afraid to tackle anything that needs to be done.
Wizard, you have the patience of a Saint. You always get things done one way or another. Others would have given up. 👍
Allen is a collector of things he may never need but in his mind he may and he will have therefore everything stays put yall
Two steps forward and ten back. So is life.
That’s the story of Allen’s life. Everyone sees it, except him.
Have you thought about getting a rock crusher and making your own road base? Just an idea. Keep up the solid work Sir.
I'd be surprised if he hasn't already got one!
Sending you lots of Positive vibes Alan from Gold Coast Australia.. we all Love your work..
Ram-A-Lam-A-Ding-Dong! All the best Alan. You'll get there.
Glad you are back 👍👍👍
Your amazing as nothing is getting to annoy you yet.
You never sleep M8
I rebuilt a 6” ram for a cardboard shredder and compactor. What a big job. Had to weld the ring on the end of the shaft. The torque was 1500 foot pounds. Me on the end of a 10 foot long cheater pipe. Nice job! 🏁🇺🇸
Again great job Alan, love you bud.
GOOD ON YOU! Lots of Luck!
And even more skill!!!!!😅
I love your fortress sir !! Seems like two steps forward, one step back...But you are winning sir !! Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. Looking forward to the next video. I dunno anything about John Deer repair or how they come apart but your idea for the radiator seems like it would work
You should rebuild both leaking rams. You even said it yourself in the video, they weren't leaking too much before and then suddenly one got worse. Chances are pretty high that it'll happen again so you might as well rebuild both and get it over with now to save yourself some time.
I have noticed that you work very hard, Although it is entertaining for me I also feel the "Pain" for lack of a better description.
Live Well, Be Well, Maybe I come see you next year?
I was reading some of your subscriber reviews & I agree with the person that texted "You need to get a magnetic mount for your GoPro then you can stick your camera right on the machine, car, truck, etc. that you're trying to show what's going on/ what you're doing." Or I've heard there's a harness that can be bought, attach the camera to that & you'll be wearing your camera & it would also stay with you all of the time & not have to touch it or hold it constantly. I agree with what you said about the large boulders you were finding as you're digging out the area for the lower bunker at the base of the mntn. It's amazing how material that can possibly be in the way where you're working, can be repurposed or suddenly becomes just exactly what is needed to solve a problem. And it's already on the property, you own it but, the heavy part is possibly how far it might have to be moved. It's quite incredible to see & think about---the massive progress that you've made. I think it"s great that you were able to work out a deal with "Mother Nature" for some marginal to good weather. (just kidding--I thought you might enjoy a bit of humor to break things up a little). Great content! Keep up the great work!!
That’s such a huge effort doing all that by yourself!!!💪🏻👊🏻
love it when the wizard post a vid,, a
Allen can you show more of your work on the fortress like the brick laying in fast time
Wizard, I enjoy watching your videos, so much knowledge is given out !
Beautiful scenery and background
Good to see you again, Alan. And awesome work on the JD.
You might have some oil coolers on some of the army trucks that you have, make up a temporary cooler/cooler's
I have rebuilt 20 plus hydraulic cylinders. Was a chore even indoors with a bench.
Dude you should be a multi millionaire with that work ethic
His Mom dropped him on his head when he was a baby.
Always enjoy the show 👏✌️
Boy Allen that was a real nail biter!!! Of all the times you could have used a hand, great job and keep up the great content 👍
Going strong still😊!
good work Alan keep up the good work.
Very Nice Work Alan Keep it up coming along Nicely
What have you been smoking?
Tag lines are wonderful things.
Right on Ellen you got a lot done
The Mountain Fortress Labs mountain range was probably an island back in the Lake Bonneville age. The rocks and sand could have once been lake front property. This is your home. Careful on how many people you let in. Be safe.
Stay happy. Have a great day
Allan you are the most motivated person I know great work mate love the channel. (Do both rams because you know what will happen 😂)
Is Allen dumber than a box of rocks? Some say yes, some say no.
The joys on working on heavy equipment is you need heavy equipment to fix it!
Thank you for sharing with us 🙏 God Bless. Nice Work 👍
Heck ya Alan! Theres a similar john deere for sale up in Burley if ya need another one??? Old stuff gonna leak, Alan gonna bring it back to life!!
You should just fix both rams, I know it's twice the work but just something you don't have to worry about in the future. you've already got it in position.
Interesting as always, be safe N be well!
You should find out what Dave would charge you to sling some bigger water tanks up to the top. The Blackhawk should be able to get you a huge tank.
I picture you have 2 tanks and get Dave once every so often swapping them out. It'd really help with the block work
Looks like there is enough room between the old radiator and the grill to put in a smaller radiator, leaving the old one in place but not connected.
Great content Alan . Stay safe m8 .
Sure hope you make a video of rebuilding the lift rams. Love your videos gives this old man something to do. 😊
Thumbs up Alan!
Thanks
1 ram rebuild done, time for another and plan on doing the other soon, after the radiator bypass surgery..
Cutting it is a great plan 👍✌️
GOOD JOB!
Such a nice spot
Here is what I need. You have all this open earth that needs moved. You got sparks and team. Maybe you hang out at the compound with that whistlindiesel fella and his dozer to see what you can clear 😉
Miltary tow truck awesome can't wait to see when u get a lot more of the pickup s an army up running an used
Used those 5 ton wreckers quite a bit while I was in the army, punch a lot of tank tubes with them, then we got hemmets and those wreckers had articulating arms made things alot easier angle wise!!!😂😂
Keep up the awesome job my friend!👍
If the progress was any slower he’d be going backwards.
Come on HEAVY D come out and help this man that works for you !! PLZ GOOD SIR !!!!
An army of men would never finish Allans projects or his junk pyles..... He is way too old to ever finish this project
@@ricksmith4736 Why are you on Alan's channel if you have no respect for his work or ingenuity? He's in his 40's, works more than a 20 year old and could probably work another 30 years easily. You are apparently a child and a Troll.
@@ricksmith4736 Most likely he won't get it all done. But he seems like he is one of those guys who enjoys his projects. So if the guy is enjoying his life, so what. Also one man's junk is another man's treasures.
@@billping2633amen
Already been there several times. He's always supported him.
what a process.
Great job
stand byt the old saying "can't move a mountain overnight but little by little it is getting done.
Does anyone else love listening and watching his progress but you've got to watch it at 2x speed? He awesome! Just a little slow talking. 😂
Great video
Keep on keeping on brother. Just drop that counter weight and be done with it.
GOOD JOB....
Stay positive and keep going 🎉🎉🎉
You mean stay high.
Alan I have used JB weld to fix aluminum rads before. But you are going to have a good ol machine when you get done with it
Well done Alan youre a genuis keep up the Good work
The hell with the Nay sayers
Your welcome. Hope to see you soon.
I had a 690 like that was a good ole unit but I finally had to upgrade .
Bypass the oil cooler and put one somewhere else externally with protection. 👍🏻
Perhaps look for any fossils or crystals from time to time. It you find any, I certain that people would buy them from you and help you fund your repairs and perhaps more.
Shake hands with danger!!
24:08 Sometimes a really small leak like that will seal itself up after a few hours of heavy use!
I feel for you, as in empathy,@68 yrs old, I notice, no one is available, and I have reason to stop trying.
Comment and LIKE for the algorithm.
Dude needs all the help he can get.
fixing leaks.. you often stress out the weaker areas.. & those little leaks flow more
Swing boom awesome
Jeeze Alan it so cool u can do so much by yourself that y u the wizzzard but it so time consuming u should have waited or ask you neighbor less work boom cool as heck rebuild an install great work
Weld on hooks and hang the bucket under the leak. It's not the right way, but it would get you by.
YOU ARE AMAZING !!
Sounds like your in love.
there must be some one with the knowledge from the john deere, or a part of the manual, how to get the radiator / oil cooler out. think this man can use that at this moment
seems like it would be easier to modify the tractor to fit an automotive radiator (maybe a pickup truck radiator) to be used as a hydraulic oil cooler, working just as well, and probably A LOT less expensive than a direct replacement from a tractor dealer.
could work, but it will out in the open and it would be only a solution for 1 or 2 years
Thumbs up 👍
Hey Al... I was watching your Hydraulic ram repair and saw the struggle with limited machine tooling. Not questioning your abilities but would like to suggest a TH-cam channel out of Australia that may give you some tips or tricks that may be helpful for your repair(s).
Never the less be safe and all the best of success of your repairs.
Cutting Edge Engineering (from about a week ago) "Can we SAVE This Cylinder with SEIZED Gland!? " | Huge CAT 24M Motor Grader.
Allen you need yourself A drone for videoing with on your TH-cam channel man. It'll make things way easier on you then while you're working on that equipment and etc. by yourself out on the mountain.,or mount fortress area.
19:20 I REALLY hope this works!!!
You might as well rebuild both rams because every leak you fix, you find another leak because the pressure goes up with every repair.
you should stack that rock on pallets and sell it !!!!!!!!
Do both ram's it's worth it in oil loss
Awes injoy show
As the saying goes, "When it rains it pours"
