Ele virou o Senator Armstrong.

Although the graphics look better I still feel games from the past feels nicer. There’s like a beauty about the 2d pixel graphics. Not sure if I’m the only who feels that way 🤤
2d sprites are absolutely beautiful, although, as you can see with XII and XIII, hd sprites are super expensive to make, so I like that SNK is using 3d, since it is easier and cheaper to use, that means that they will have more budget to use on gameplay
@@Xeve1211 wow, you're the first person I see that has the same opinion as mine, it's not that XII/XIII looks bad, it's just that the artstyle overall is pretty meh, some characters look way to buff, others anorexic, the female characters heads are way to big and some characters looks like they don't even are KOF characters (Athena being the biggest offender), I much more prefer the sprites from XI and downward, at least they were consistent with each other
@@whitejester SNK when making KOF XII/XIII sprites first made a 3d model, then draw from it, and then make the pixel art out of that drawings, I don't like some of the designs in this game, but all characters were beautifully animated because of that process, but in exchange, the sprites were super expensive to make, each SNK team needed at minimum 10 months to make EACH character, that's why the sprites were expensive, the game didn't sell well enough when it released and SNK F'ing broke, KOF 13 was released in 2010, they only came back to make console games in 2016 with KOF 14, till then they were surviving because a Chinese company buy'd them and porting old games, SNK only came back now because of KOF XIV, which sell more than it was expected, if it wasn't for 14 we wouldn't have samsho and 15 You probably already know that history, sorry for bothering you
Its just a slight upgrade. Im not expecting them to be more muscular like sf is. But cmon they should do better than this. Even some of ulti looks the same with just a different angle. My expectations are not shattered.
Honestly i wish they kept a couple of the old designs. Benimaru looked cooler in 14. Maxima looked less like a gorilla in 14 too. Somethings up with Clark's shoulder in 15. Also the lack of nostrils in 15 bug me. At the same time id rather have some of the new designs like Kyo's, Terry's and Mai's.
I bought both of these games, and yeah it does look amazing, the problem about it is The XIV one, no not the characters that has bad design, I am talking about Kyo's XIV Design, He surely looks like a JPop Or a KPop Idol, But the rest of the characters are alright, the only Kyo Design I like is the XV one, You wanna know why? Because it has his XII-XIII Attire But with a Headband, And his Classic Gloves. So yeah. That's all I can say for now.

Yeah, no. KOF was always about realistic proportions, only 13 has those exaggerated animesque proportions. They tried to bring it back to how the originals were but clearly there's not enough resources for them to pull it off so the stylization of 15 looks better.
i like the lighting engine better in 14 but the character faces are better in 15
The kof 14 models were so lifeless and stiff, snk did a much better job to make the characters have more energy in the new game
Ele virou o Senator Armstrong.
@@FullAdDariusBR sempre foi assim aonde man.
The "anime like" graphics really make it pop, also reminds me of the arcades, these characters look so good now, I'm definitely going to buy KOF XV
The King of Fighters 14.5
98 and 97 were 96.5 and 96.9 respectively, 2000 was just 99.5, 11 was just 03.5, 13 was just 12.5
It doesn't make these games any less good
Kyo in a white jacket with no part in his hair? What have they done to my boi? TT___TT Thank you, KOFXV for restoring him.
My main complaint with 15 is that it's too bright. There's barely any shadows.
For example, look at Leona's top.
I think in XV the characters look more consistent then in XIV
Can't believe these games came out only a year apart. One in 2004 and another in 2005.
15 Hair = Hair
14 Hair = Clay
The body parts look very bright in kof xv.
Kof XIV Andy was starving lol, finally they gave him some nutrition in XV... same for other characters as well
Although the graphics look better I still feel games from the past feels nicer.
@@Colecionador7162 well the sprites I’m referring to is the ones from KOF 2002 (arcade) etc not the ones from xiii those are lame lol
@@Xeve1211 wow, you're the first person I see that has the same opinion as mine, it's not that XII/XIII looks bad, it's just that the artstyle overall is pretty meh, some characters look way to buff, others anorexic, the female characters heads are way to big and some characters looks like they don't even are KOF characters (Athena being the biggest offender), I much more prefer the sprites from XI and downward, at least they were consistent with each other
@@Colecionador7162 wait HD 2D sprites spikes in prices? How the hell did that even happen.
@@whitejester SNK when making KOF XII/XIII sprites first made a 3d model, then draw from it, and then make the pixel art out of that drawings, I don't like some of the designs in this game, but all characters were beautifully animated because of that process, but in exchange, the sprites were super expensive to make, each SNK team needed at minimum 10 months to make EACH character, that's why the sprites were expensive, the game didn't sell well enough when it released and SNK F'ing broke, KOF 13 was released in 2010, they only came back to make console games in 2016 with KOF 14, till then they were surviving because a Chinese company buy'd them and porting old games, SNK only came back now because of KOF XIV, which sell more than it was expected, if it wasn't for 14 we wouldn't have samsho and 15
You probably already know that history, sorry for bothering you
I really dont like 3D Kula, for some reason there no trace of the "dangerous but elegant" vibe she gave in the sprite era.
slight better hair physics.. beside that, i don't see that much difference.
14 is more Shikiro-ish style.15 improve a lot in posture body from every character way to go SNK.
The only thing I like better from 14 is Iori's mouth when he laughs. I don't know why it looks like that in 15.
ah yeah. I was about to say...
Big improvement but there’s a few that I think looked better in XIV, Robert and Kukri to name couple.
The recycling is so blatant, the graphics are so antiquated... crazy how SNK dares to charge full price for these games
KoF 15 looks more cartoony and yet it has higher system requirements
Its just a slight upgrade. Im not expecting them to be more muscular like sf is. But cmon they should do better than this. Even some of ulti looks the same with just a different angle. My expectations are not shattered.
Honestly i wish they kept a couple of the old designs. Benimaru looked cooler in 14. Maxima looked less like a gorilla in 14 too. Somethings up with Clark's shoulder in 15. Also the lack of nostrils in 15 bug me. At the same time id rather have some of the new designs like Kyo's, Terry's and Mai's.
9:29 omg that hair bug in KoF14 LMAO
massive improvements. just look at athena
They went from DAZ 3D models to actual characters lol
They made the intros very simple compared to the old games
I bought both of these games, and yeah it does look amazing, the problem about it is The XIV one, no not the characters that has bad design, I am talking about Kyo's XIV Design, He surely looks like a JPop Or a KPop Idol, But the rest of the characters are alright, the only Kyo Design I like is the XV one, You wanna know why? Because it has his XII-XIII Attire But with a Headband, And his Classic Gloves. So yeah. That's all I can say for now.
The only characters I feel got worse :
Whip - her hair looks off
Robert - in terms of standing animation
Overall apart from these minor peeves everything else is just way better appearance wise
You are right. Whip looks awful in Kof XV!!
Such a throwback, I gotta get this game
Jesus, everyone in XIV looks so dead.
But i still can't get over the fact that they made Ryo taller than Robert, just why..
