@@thanosguy576 lmao yea but they person who got first was actually really good, they managed to play the violin blindfolded and upside down it was really cool
If you see a wall with the blue skull key texture on it the regular one is behind it and in order to find it you need to find a hallway where the floor is red liquid
"Warrens" is my favorite secret map in the first Doom game. The perfect revenge for having to kill two Cacodemons in the first map with just a pistol. Twice as hard once you get to the "exit", but twice as fun and rewarding too.
people always talking about at doom’s gate, but this honestly places higher for me alongside kitchen ace, intermission from doom, and nobody told me about id
I’ll never forget having a dream of doom itself- in some kind of dungeon dark as hell and minotaurs/ demons coming at me. Me just having a double barrel shorty and chainsaw.. I woke up sweating 😅
This one’s such a bop. Another reason why I prefer classic DOOM is the music. Sure the modern ones sound really hype and blood-pumping, but it’s not enough to be as memorable unlike the MIDI-classic songs. Especially fans who not only love the games, but also fans of heavy metal. Bobby Prince managed to please a wide crowd of heavy metal lovers when he released the soundtrack. Overall, MIDI is very fitting for DOOM imo. Hearing MIDI versions of Metallica, ACDC, Slayer etc. puts a smile to my face
Same here, the original _DOOM_ was inspired by so many kickass 80's things. Thrash metal, _Aliens_ , _Evil Dead II_ , D&D. The new _DOOM_ games, while not terrible by any means, thematically are too derivative of _DOOM_ itself without any meaningful new ideas of their own. It's why _DOOM_ will always drip with an unparalleled retro charm, while the new games will be likely forgotten in a decade or two.
I wonder if there's music like from the new doom games but with the classic music from old doom and the music from the new doom combined, or just music that has the old and new doom music combined or being balanced between old doom and new doom when it comes to the soundtrack.
whenever i heard this it always was like the theme of berserk or chainsaw it always played in my head when i got berserk or the chainsaw or is it just me
I had a childhood friend who always wanted to play this game but I always said no cuz I sucked really badly at it. I would eventually give in though - on the condition we only played levels that had this song so I could rock out and lose at the same time 😂
PS3 player here, the soundtrack for the PS3 port of "Doom: Classic Complete" Isn't that bad, but it isn't as enjoyable as the original SC-55, but the Classic Complete's version of "Hiding The Secrets" has the hardest-hitting version of the track I have heard.
i did this song on drums with my friend on guitar for a talent show once and we got 2nd place, it was great
2nd? Who are the judges?

@@thanosguy576 well it is called a talent show for a reason
Is it filmed? And if it is isit on youtube?
fun fact: I go for E3M9 every time I play through Doom because to this day I don't know where the proper exit to E3M7 is
The one that thas secret exit is E3M6, where John Romero told you to rocket jump to get to the secret exit switch.
@The Final Chapter you can just strafe jump actually ez
@@pww4293 yes, that's what I meant, exit TO E3M7, because I'm exiting E3M6, to go to E3M7
@Just a cacodemon with internet access You have to go through nukage to get to it, so I prefer to just go to E3M9
If you see a wall with the blue skull key texture on it the regular one is behind it and in order to find it you need to find a hallway where the floor is red liquid
Plays in:
E1M9 - Military Base (Ultimate Doom)
E3M9 - Warrens (Ultimate Doom)
E4M9 - Fear (Ultimate Doom)
MAP05 - Ghost Town (Plutonia)
Notice how all of the original doom maps are secret levels

I modified my doom game to always play this music or the sign of evil on every level. I LOVE this music.
All I gotta say apart from the fact this OST is a banger.
FUCK THIS LEVEL PISTOL STARTING ON NIGHTMARE MODE!!!!!!!!!

Oh, don't worry, the Barons will take care of them.
@72ithink and e1m1
That moment when you have to get past those Chaingunners and the Spiderdemon at Ghost Town in Plutonia... :P
Building a subwoofer box while listening to this. accomplished so much. lol
Then playing this through the box when it was finished
This is the "getting shit done" music for me
So, did you finish it?

Easily my favorite song in the OG Doom soundtrack. And it's not even close.

This is one of my favorite songs from Doom of all time, and the spider mastermind song to!
OMFG you also think it fit with spider mastermind!

Nah, the dislikers just weren’t very good at hiding the(ir) secrets.
The perfect midi name for a secret map.
Who here has actually found the secret level this is in? Because I just did!
In the sense that everyone knows this?
Narwhalman02 great feeling, right?
I've found all 3 secret levels (E1M9, E3M9, and E4M9) that have this track in it.
EdMaxtor there is moar? I must find them!

What about E2M9?
I'm currently attempting to learn the drums for this. I'm working on it!
Hope it's going well
(Yes I know it's been 2 years)
pure badass in audio format
In the SNES Port, this plays in E2M1. Dangest Thing.
in SNES Doom, *this* is the best track in the game imo.
Space restrictions, can't really blame them.

Awesome version wich even beats the waterdown snes version.
This song sounds more like training than killing demons

The thing that I like about E3M9 is it looks like a remix of E3M1 but once you reach the "end", there's a freakin Cyberdemon.

Cool video I completed Doom 1 for original Xbox & Gameboy advance & 360 don't own original Xbox or gameboy advance anymore got 100%
