The Powerpuff Girls reboot is a perfect example of what you are saying, no I don’t necessarily hate the reboot like most people do I think somethings in it are good such as animation, character design, and the morals (most-times) but I never said the thing as a whole was good. It tried so hard to cater to the teenage audience when really it just loses touch with its roots and becomes insufferable and painful to watch if not cringeworthy and it really doesn’t try to adapt to the source material whatsoever, now I’m OK with trying to do something different because that’s what Cartoon Network has been for years creating something original and unique but you have to do it right and remember where the source material came from and the reboot pretty much fails epically in that regard.

Last time we had a revival of Teen Titans, this happened. (OK, not really a revival, but still). Teen Titans may not be returning in the form of new episodes, but returning to CN in the form of reruns is better than nothing, I tell you h'wat.
Cartoon Network will always be my childhood show but their investment in certain shows is what's killing it for me. They have great shows but it seems that money is their only goal right now and they're going to get all the money they can till there's nothing left. I'm hoping new shows come in and take over but for now I'll watch reruns of old shows.

The Powerpuff Girls reboot should be banned from TV. It's cringeworthy, painful to watch and completely inappropriate to viewers (both old & new). My four-year-old sisters hated Teen Titans Go after seeing the first episode. I'm not joking when they said: "It's too bright!!!" after seeing like five minutes. After that, I started seeing if CN had some other shows they could watch and I saw Ben 10, a show that I adored when I was younger. I put it on and felt my soul leave my body after realizing that *IT WAS NOT BEN 10!* Next, I got desperate and tried doing everything I could to find a good show to watch, so eventually, I put on Pokémon XY and we sat in silence for the rest of the day.

They need to rebrand into something whimsical and fun and unlike the generic cringe they have now. The City and Noods eras come to mind, as well as early Check It and late Powerhouse.

Unlike Disney or Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network doesn't really seem to know what the word "reboot" even means, as they're literally just bringing shows back based on their names and taking out every aspect that made the original good in favor of making it more like their other shows, which are mostly comedy and slice-of-life, and it doesn't work because the original shows were not made for that purpose.
It doesn't help that the people in charge of CN seem to want to play things FAR too safe anymore and not take any risks by experimenting. Beyond Teen Titans Go, the other reboots get rather mediocre to low ratings, and that's primarily because even for those who didn't even watch the original shows, the new ones are just cut from the same cloth as all the other shows on the network while lacking any real identity of their own. Instead they are like identity thieves and use the identity of previous popular shows to gain popularity, while failing at it miserably.

What bothers me is how CN treats original shows: Thundercats 2011, Beware the Batman, Green Lantern TAS, Young Justice, and Justice League Action all got very positive reviews but were not supported at all and were either given terrible time slots or pulled early.

actually nicks full strategy is worked off their movie to live action sicom strat, how its gonna play out is like henry danger, if the movie does well they will actually put the money and time into it, but it if doesn't then it stays that way, its a way to test shows to a world wide audience but without any sort of promises. so if It does well nick might just push off some of their "decent" live action sitcoms and put the money back into its cartoon budget by reviving the shows that had their respective movies do well

Cloudy is pretty good. True it's unnecessary, but what they gave us is still pretty enjoyable. It doesn't tread on the original, just keeps to a specific part of it... the zany part.
I gotta say, while I know that that GKND scene was a fan animation, it feels so official that I believe that animator should be hired if the reboot finally gets greenlit 👍
The later episodes after Jack got his sword back started to loose its edge imo. I could let that go, if the ending was a bit better. Y'know if it was longer than it being only 24 minutes long. Other than that, I'm still glad we got a conclusion to Samurai Jack. Wether you like it or not, you must admit that SJ S5 is a prime example of what reboots or continuations should be. Special shoutouts to the Ducktales reboot for doing this as well.

Once Steven Universe is done and Adventure Time, what do CN have? I think they need to greenlit original ideas from fresh new creators. Infinity Train seemed like a great cartoon for CN. It had mystery and the main character is so likeable. If they greenlit it CN would get more views.
When it comes to Reboots, Cartoon Network has not the best ones. It's good to have a reboot but it needs to have the orginal creator or maybe make it look a little better than the original.
So if the movies for Hey Arnold, Rocky's Modern Life, and Invader Zim do well in the ratings, does that mean we could possibly see them return for more seasons?
