Another bit I’d add about Joes specials is they compliment each other fantastically. Obviously TK hits people jumping hurricanes but slash kick will cover rolls and even works great because Joe shimmies back and forth a lot when throwing out hurricanes to position himself safely so this can catch you off guard.
No, I picked Joe because I'm a great fan of both Terry and Andy, so I want to learn to play him to complement the trio. And he has a cool character beyond his gameplay.
You’re reasoning for me choosing Joe was waaaayyyyy off. I been playing fighting games since SF1 and my fave FF/Garou character was Joe since the OG. Also, don’t say Joe has Paul’s hairstyle, when Joe was on his 4th game, Tekken still didn’t exist.

Every single one of the fatal fury cast is a shoto; no diversity they should set Joe or Andy out in favor of Kim; they all got suped up for this game wish they gave the same love to some of the other characters

I'd say Slash kick is a good approach tool if you *know* your opponent is gonna start walking towards you
