I initially thought wiring issues too. I've had no problems since. The locks seem pricey but I personally would only fit new and ideally genuine at that. There were a few second hand ones about but then you could be buying someone else's problems.
@@HWrenMaintenanceServicesLTD yeah i thought wiring till saw this video but i priced a part up from fiat £210 pounds haha mean aint paying that but also cant find one for passenger door only driver door ):
Hope it all goes well! Try and get some door card clips as you are more than likely going to break some like I did. Thanks for watching and the comment!
It’s an informative video but it would have helped if you had quoted the part number and mentioned the torx bit numbers that you used, I heard you mention a 10mm socket but that’s all Otherwise a very useful video. Thanks
Im looking tomorrow for the thinnest wire which is possibly white and blue and cutting it. its the sender for the door open so it just shuts it up and stops the signal@@shwadeduck123
I've just looked at the receipt form SG Petch. Under the "deposit part number" section it has 9681335780 and "description" Lock. Not sure if that is a reference for SG Petch as a google of that number doesn't bring anything up.
Just did mine following your instructions! Job I’ve been putting off for a year and took 1 hour!
Pleased it helped! thanks for watching and the comment.
