We can see so many stars in the night sky that can’t even count them all. In the ancient times, people created imaginary patterns of star groups that we now call constellations.

SUMMARY
- You can recognize Ursa Major by the famous Big Dipper (which is alternatively called the Plough). However, you should know that it can only be found in the northern sky.
- To see this constellation, you need to find another Dipper, the Little one this time. The main star in this constellation is Polaris, also known as the North Star.
- Auriga is the Latin name for «charioteer». In Greek mythology, it is often associated with the Greek hero Erichthonius, who invented a horse-chariot.
- Cassiopeia is the name of the queen in Greek mythology. She was famous for showing off with her unique beauty. Again, those living in the northern part of the planet are lucky to see Cassiopeia all year-round especially clearly from September to November.
- Andromeda was a princess who told the sea nymph that they were less beautiful than her. The nymphs couldn’t take a blow that low and complained to Poseidon. The sea god didn’t like threatened Andromeda’s father to flood his kingdom, and the only way to save it was to sacrifice the daughter.
- You must know this constellation as Leo on of the Zodiac signs. Leo is the Latin for «lion», the same lion that was killed by Hercules. Just like Ursa Major, Leo was seen as a lion by various civilizations: the Persians, the Indians, the Turks and others.
- This strange-looking word comes from Greek and means «herdsman». According to one of the myths, Boötes is Icarius who got a secret recipe for wine. Icarius loved the drink a lot and later invited his friends to enjoy it, too.
- Corona Borealis is the Latin for «northern crown». In mythology, it symbolizes the crown that Dionysus presented to Ariadne, the princess of Crete.

Andromeda is not chained women it is just Greek mythology Andromeda is princess of Ethiopia the daughter of Cassiopeia ( queen of Ethiopia ) and Cephes (king of Ethiopia ).
Andromeda was Ethiopian princess.Cassiopeia was mother of Andromeda and Cephs was her husband(king) .
Andromeda ruled Ethiopia for 19 yrs and for their great contribution in discovering constellations IAU named these three constellations by their name.
Very good animation and presentation, but you've got the mythology very messed up, I must say. The queen of Greece? There was no such state in ancient times. Andromeda was actually an Ethiopian princess. Cassiopea was her mother and she was the one who insulted Nereus and his daughters, the Nereids, by saying that her daughter was more beautiful then them, and therefore angered Poseidon. Also, that thing that all ancient peoples for some mysterious reason saw a given group of stars as a bear, or a lion is also no mystery at all. The knowledge of astronomy was passed to the Greeks by the Babylonians and the Egyptians sometimes in the Archaic period (VІІІ - VІ c. BC.) From there on it spread throughout the whole western civilization, also in Arabic culture in the age of the Caliphate. So, no wonder why they all see the same thing in the sky.
Bright Side spells "stars" as "starts", already skeptical. How does one look at lights in the sky and see a "bear" , "chained woman". I'm surprised the "woke" society hasn't protested.
Cassiopeia is the queen of Ethiopia, if you don't know.
