I was a bit lost throughout the story… I thought it had something to do with DID (Dissociative identity disorder/multiple-personality disorder), but near the end, it all came together and I was able to understand. Such a sad story, especially the ending 😢
So.... The girl showing the house kidnapped them, put bugs in them, then some secret scientists saved them and some of the kids got killed but the main girl survived and visits with her friends in her dreams. This was so confusing and didn't make sense at all. :( sorry, author.

After my second watch, I think these college kids were lured to someone’s apartment where they were drugged and brainwashed by the ‘tenant’ and have been in rehabilitation for years. Some of them are violent. And the tenants may have been using some (probably demonic) creature to affect their minds, tho I’m not sure if that’s even supposed to be real. Does anyone have a take on this?

The mind control component is definitely consistent between both White Rabbit and this story, but I fail to recall if highly sentient bugs in are referenced in White Rabbit (however I'm not sure if the bugs in this story are real). The idea of using others for entertainment and brainwashing also remind me of "I Have A Stalker Who Says My Husband Killed Her Sister, But I Don't Know If Shes Real" authored by R.C. Bowman.
