Wooow - when I took on this loooooong video, I thought it has to be total hmhmhmhmhmhmhm, but it wasn't. Your description of the causes of death of the poor hikers, is spot on - the best account I have ever read. How was I so stupid not to realise, that the hikers prolly split in the darkness and panic - even though the official account tells they "calmly walked" towards the woods - of course they did not walk "calmly". So, my estimation on your analysis on how the hikers died, is 10/10. I would say, it is at least 50 % certainly how it really happened. But then.. I'm sorry to say, it was not an avalanche - and 100 % certain not in the way you described it. If the three injured hikers had been injured in the tent, they would have been found in the tent, or very nearby. All medical data tells that they were not able to function properly after the injuries - and certainly they were not able to run close to a mile downhill in deep snow. That is just not an option. Also, 8 or 9 separate footprints were detected - nobody wasn't even helped to walk. All hikers were physically ok when they abandoned the tent - to me that is a fact. Avalanche as such, is of course plausible, but as U can see, the tent was still standing there when the search party came - it would have been a very minor avalanche, nothing to panic the experienced group of hikers. They might have been scared - sure - but after noticing the tent was not wiped out or buried, they would surely have returned to it. Also, no, not all 9 hikers were deep asleep, when the unthinkable happened (whatever it was), because we know almost certainly that two of the best clothed guys were outside taking a pee, when it happened. I'm lazy with the names - forgive me - but one of them even took his camera on, when he came out of the tent late in the evening (The camera was later found on him, while all the other cameras were left in the tent). Why would he do that? I dunno, but it sure makes one think of something pretty spectacular, doesn't it? The pics he took on the mountain, remains a mystery, because all we can now see of the film, are just some "stains" of bright colour. Infrasound theory is much stronger, in my opinion. However, all fit and capable hikers going mad at a same instant is a bit too much to me.. Because leaving your winter gear and your tent in those conditions, means practically a certain death. So, something was worse than a certain death? Tongue and eyes - perfectly natural in those conditions, as you said. Odd behavior of authorities - All KGB did was odd behaviour; KGB used to cover up anything and everything those days. Thank you so much for the video - you are a rare specimen of a clear thinker. Even though the final cause of the catastrophy was not equally well analysed here - IMHO.
@@aileenkochs6734 Hey man I really appreciate it! I also appreciate your personal theory on what happened because I love hearing what others think happened! I tried to make the point that the avalanche just makes the most sense to me but there will never be an 100% positive explanation for what actually happened. That's why I love this story so much and I'm so glad others enjoy it so much as well
I’ve heard about this case on podcasts and such before, but there were a lot of details you covered here that I hadn’t heard before! Also I loved seeing your cat 😊
Ball lightning could explain what spooked the group out of the tent. The plasma orb or orbs would easily freak out anyone not expecting or knowing of the phenomenon.
As for the missing tougne and eyeballs, that girl was found face down in a melting stream. so those parts may of decomposed first. Sasha was also in a more advanced stage of decomposition with missing eyes in the Ravine as well.
I really agree with the slab avalanche theory myself but wouldn't it have been so cool if they met a yeti? I mean I wouldn't be that mad if I was taken out by a mysterious arctic bigfoot. Also I knew KitKat would be in a video eventually with how nosey he is.
I do not know what happened I have my guesses: 1. local crazy person (or people) who murdered them all 2. someone in the expedition lost their mind and killed all their fellow hikers
Thank you! It is a very disturbing and fascinating story. Your cat is very cute 😻

No way! This topic is one of my favs!

Glad you enjoyed it!
But could the three severely damaged persons even make it to the revine? It's very unlikely, in my opinion.

Way too anticlimactic and sorry bored me to death. Way to many assumptions
