We're the same age. I was a student at Syracuse in the School of Visual and Performing Arts (and my mom taught in the Voice Department) when she competed for Miss America. It was such a big deal on campus when she won. I'm so happy she persevered through all the BS she had to put up with and continues to prove to the world what an amazing, superior talent she is. We always knew as much.

lol, probably the biggest memory of christmas stuff we'd never have any other day is the mixed nuts in the shell, walnuts, brazil nuts, almonds, hazelnuts and the big tin of Quality Street. The fizzy drinks, yes as well, but they were the special fizzy, like Tizer, Cream Soda...the ones you couldn't make with the soda-stream thingy
First of all, I was today years old when I learned VW was regionally Miss Syracuse or whatever. Second.... I was bemoaning having watched all the episodes of Dish when I learned this was the 100th episode and surely I haven't watched all 100 given I only discovered this like two weeks ago. Third: I still want this to be a full on Netflix series with 52 episodes per year minimum.
Those Chinese food white take out boxes in American tv shows and movies always made me soooo jealous. Tbf though at least London has oodles which have cute packaging
