In Canada I remember this song being all over the airwaves at the time, and even today it still gets airplay. This is a true classic -- thoughtful lyrics and Archer's incredible vocal range make this a song for the ages. Her voice is still awesome today -- just wish she had more monster hits like this one...

I agree, this song gives me chills. She has not aged much since '92 either...more than alive and well! Seems like every good act has that one "standout" song that carries with them for a lifetime. Nothing wrong with that however, since most of us will NEVER had any LOL I loved this album and every song on it and always will. Her new CD "ON" is good, but different than this material and is worth listening too :)

Great Expectations is one of the great albums in my lifetime, but it was too diversified a calling card for the pidgeonholers. Archer is an artist in the truest sense, and that rich, melodic wail never fails to move me. Personally I think she has genius.

Absolutely love this song! From the first time I heard it I was captured by your beautiful voice and the energy from this song. I think you should re-release or promote it again today. Even though it has been done before I think it would grab many new listeners. Still to this day it sounds fresh and uplifting. Many people have not heard this song but I know if they had you would have an entirely new Decade of fans as if it was released for the first time ever.
Love Tasmin, and I love her album. Great Expections was one of the best albums ever, and she should have been bigger star. Needs to be on Lilith Fair. Hope other singers are picking up her songs because she is an ace songwriter.

I'm a white guy that grew up on 80's heavy metal but you'd have to be completely closed minded to not appreciate this talent and voice.
