Thank you - I did this with the crow foot sunex from Amazon...still was a hassle to be honest, but I'm glad I got it done myself. Better than paying the dealership...although I still had to pay for that alignment at the dealership...
You gotta bend the washers straight, right? I'm about to take mine off and the washers are bent over on mine. I guess I gotta get those unbent before I put any torque on it?
Having a rougher time than you with the situation I'm looking at it seems. Could not get the inner tie rod to unscrew at all. Our crows foot would slip off. We were putting a shit load of torque on it and it just would not go
Cup of coffee you see. Not everyone has the best camera set up. You work with what you prefer the most. I seen some TH-cam videos that was taken on phones. I hear it all the time.

U sure you are loosening them vs tightening?
@@besicm1 Yeah 100% sure. I'm taking the rack out. Almost got it out now
Torque specs for inner tie rod?
Just make sure it's tight. It will eventually stop when it can't be threaded more
Good idea about shooting a little WD-40 to prevent rust.
zoro has them, mine came in today....
Where did you get the crowfoot?
Amazon.
Thank, they're all sold out. Were the tie rods you put on aftermarket?
They are tie Rods from rockauto. Ebay might have the crow feet. Amazon should easily have them. Multiple brands as well
ok, cool. I just want to make sure the 19mm will fit on the aftermarket ones
29mm crow foot for inner tie rod
The people that insist on shooting videos for youtube with an iphone...dont. This aspect ratio is horrible for these types of videos.
Records 1080 on my end put TH-cam always downsized it. And it's not a iPhone, it's a note 9
My apologies sir...
Whatever the case this video is horrible.
