Aaaah this is absolutely gorgeous!! I adore how you keep the lineart persistent throughout the piece, only lightening it a bit to blend in more smoothly, while still achieving a very soft and painterly style! It has just the right balance, and is stylised beautifully
if you go on my tumblr and search for brush settings, it's the one i call "speckly" lol, but essentially it's sidewalk shape/glass texture, 10 blending and no dilution/persistence

I remember my old art teacher said that starting with the eyes and making them look good was a good way to motivate you to finish strong as well
