Man I love that Kyle and the gang will film anything on wheels! There are so many cool cars out there that aren’t high dollar race cars. I love this channel! Keep the great videos coming!!
I’m glad I impulsively drove 5 hours to come watch day 4 in person. It was nice to see 1320 video, and watch the excitement live! I talked to people I’ve watched for years.
I am really glad you go thet time to speak to the owner of the TBird! Being a TBird owner from across the pond myself this guy is consistently giving advice in the FB groups and I am happy he got the car done for Race Week! Thank you!
thx 1320 for always showing the various race weeks. Gives us guys who can't participate something to enjoy and feel like we are there day to day with ya
Just starting to watch but Kyle your opening statements are so true sure a variety of amazing cars for me I'm thinking about all of this we all get to see and would never know was out there if it weren't for you and the crew at 1320 video, and there's always the awesome merchandise, people you need to get ya some of that!!!! Now back to the video!!
As a former Ford Explorer Sport owner(5 speed 4WD no less, was a pretty fun combo), I can definitely say nice choice! Definitely different too! Unfortunately, almost no aftermarket for these things aside from off-road/desert stuff. If you can handle some garage fab work, I'd definitely suggest looking into keeping it on leafs and building a set of homemade CalTracs knock offs(there's a number of different guides on the web that have the proper dimensions/geometry, it's pretty straightforward), you definitely don't need to back half it like the white Ranger here(certainly doesn't hurt either though lol). When setup right with a set of quality double adjustable shocks, a CalTracs style leaf spring setup can 60' with just about any factory style rear suspension(you can get real close to Fox body 60'), they work incredibly well and are about as simple of a setup as it gets too. If you don't know about them, check out the Street Racing Channel on here, they have a no-prep S10 on stock leafs with CalTracs and stock front suspension(original control arms and all), with double adjustable Vikings at all 4 corners, and it's one of the baddest small tire no-prep(primarily back half & street stuff) cars out here in Ohio. It's amazing how far a simple leaf + CalTracs setup can go. I'm in the planning stages of a Ranger build(H-pattern build too) for local no-prep & hopefully drag n drive stuff, and that's definitely the route I'm going, it's just too easy and works too well not to lol! Probably just run a stock 351 short block with a set of TFS High Ports(or those killer CHI 3vs...) for now with a good ol Chinese whistler, more than likely with a Holley TermX controlling everything, should be a capable combo for the money.
Are you racers are awesome keep up the great work and everybody else here there everywhere watching and racing let's go sign the RPM Act to save racing save car culture and save this for our little ones when we're gone racing as a way of life not a crime 1320 videos keep up the great work Kyle and everybody else on the team
Love the chevette. Would love to see both lanes and times on passes. Still love the footage. 1320video is my main TH-cam channel. Thanks guys keep up the great work.
Badass seeing that e36. Wish these were around back when I was still drag racing. We were the first in the 9s with a 328. Ran 9.92 @ 152 in 2006. Best trap was 9.98 @ 159. These vids make me wanna take ol girl out of retirement. Maybe rebuild it better with all the innovations in the past 15 years. Like e85, boost by gear and tuning. We flew in a guy from Canada just to tune our m52 on the electromotive stand alone.
@@joshuagibson2520 well once I hit the 9 sec/1000whp mark I was satisfied and my bank account wasn't. Then I got in to building/racing 1985 honda odysseys. Put rotax twin 670s and custom long travel on them. Raced in western PA with my buddy, my dad and cousin. So much more fun than drag racing. Also since we were one of the first to drag race e36s it was a constant fear of what was going to break next. Did get sponsored by the driveshaft shop and got the first run of axles and driveshafts. That helped alot. But breaking trannys and diffs all the time sucked. Funny thing is after the 9 sec run we put a faceplated built t5 and an e34 m5 diff in it and never really ran it. Also the car was required to needed a chute to go back to MIR and didn't wanna do that.
That ratrod diesel thing with the BIG OL fuckin tires launches so hard. I've only ever seen 2 "vehicles" that deserve the phrase "violent launch"... Crazy built R35s and then this truck.
Congratulations to all of the winners of their respective class and congratulations to the white G Body that nearly wrecked on the 2 day you have won the trailer burnout competition and massive shout out Kyle and 1320 crew For bringing us the most fantastic footage yet again how much love from in the UK just in case people don’t know sadly her majesty Queen Elizabeth has passed away
For sure, I don't know how these guys afford to do it buying a hotel room every night. Ever since the drag n drives took off, all I can think is "a truck is easily the best choice" - put a cap on it and sleep in back, or put a roof tent on top of the bed(on the trailer works too though). Truck stop showers, an actually GOOD breakfast at a restaurant instead of the crappy hotel bagel breakfast, what more do you need? Better than dealing with hotels! But I've always liked camping too, so maybe it's just me lol.
got off work an saw the blue mustang an skyline on my work road then all the other rigs on highway home lol, awesome to see the small towns I run around in, also love people trying to say the names lol
Those guys definitely chose the "nightmare" difficulty option, taking a damn 3000HP Cummins full size 4WD on a drag n drive lol. All the respect in the world to them.
51:25 that thunderbird just stole my heart. Paused it to type this comment, aint seen it run yet but i dont care. Best car in the video 😂 Sentimental reasons + you just dont see them putting in work in this part of the car world. Or any really anymore lol

I wanna do that too..but for me is a bit more then a 5h drive since I live in Stockholm 😂
That hug at the end between father and son... that what's all about
honestly unrivaled diesel was such a refreshing take on drag week. dude was so humble about it too
Yup, was pretty awesome watching them take a diesel on THAT level on a drag n drive, all the respect in the world to that crew!
The motorsports coverage that 1320video does is second to none. I love this channel!

That's a cool car for sure - definitely wasn't expecting to still see a 2v 4.6 under the hood!
@@RyTrapp0 Yeah , it's good to see one out there with a some good mods on the original engine. Hope to see him do great things with it!
I literally threw my hands in the air when the vette ran his 7 lol
You Blokes seriously make the best Drag & Drive video's, Thank you 1320 from Down Under!
@not today nfi, Summernats has already been & gone this year so I doubt it
Yay! Thanks for showing the blue and white Blazer! It was one of the first ones we saw drive thru Coweta.

7.94 @ 179.4... anyone else amazed by the 794 in both the mile and time?
What great sportsmanship from my crazy buddy Richard Guido.... congrats to Chad on making it in to 7" s..... it was a great moment....
That red stick shift vette is just plain nasty! Cant believe its running that fast in a race week scenario!!! Huge Respect!

As I've come to expect, another well edited and put together video from start to finish! Thanks Steve and the entire 1320 crew you guys rock!
I just bought a 98 2 door 2 WD Explorer, to fix up for drag and drives. That Ranger has given me some ideas. I wanted something different as well.

"Welcome to the family" Almost brought a tear to my eye.
I finally remember who Chad was (Red C6). He's the guy that did the initial work to Kyle's C5.

I love the perseverance stories and just pushing and fighting through all the struggles
I'm starting to catch feelings for that Ford Ranger.
That ranger would killed the quarter mile
I love it, it's a cool truck
Thats the weed talking
Looks like a great day in all, some quick passes, great camera work, excellent job, all the best to yous and your loved ones

Awesome to get to spend time with his dad.
That red and black truck sounds amazing
WOW THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME. Loved watching them all.doing what makes you happy . The hard work every one puts in to make them cruising and racing
Did you take the $150 bait to pay for shipping on a package that probably will never show because the contest wasn't advertised in the video.

Congrats to the Cutty that was remarkable
C10's loaded bed burnout was exceptional. Fully loaded bed and still laid it down!
