Welcome back to the Earthy Goodness Kitchen! Do you prefer veggie burgers from the shop or do you make your own?

Great recipe, I was looking for this! My home made plant-based burgers are always quite mashy so a recipe that addresses also this aspect is very welcome! Can't wait to try it, thank you!

I love this new channel! I prefer making my own veggie burgers, and I’ll definitely be adding this one to the list!

These look delicious! I love the idea of the walnuts and lentils, tonnes of protein for my goals! I’ve read about brown rice in veggie burgers before, I’ll have to give these ago. Would they freeze well?

Thanks Kate! Yeah lots of protein from different veggie sources. Yes they would :)

I suggest posting to r/vegan recipes on Reddit. Explain that there's a recipe in the description (needs to have a written recipe) or link to a website (if you have one).
I was just looking for a firmer burger as the ones I had last night were mushy. Nice in their own way, but not what I wanted.
So I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Thanks! It's a Tefal Jamie Oliver 28cm Frying Pan. Got it off Argos if you're in the uk :)

Hi George. Your recipe looks great. I’m making them today. How many burgers would the recipe make? Also, it would help to add buns to the ingredients. Cheers, James

Hi James, thanks for watching. It should make about 6-8 :)

Thanks, George. They were delicious, and very well-received by my carnivorous family.

@@jamesrenwick2876 Thanks for reporting back on your findings.
Additionally, thanks George for the ingredient list. I noticed you're using Instant coffee.
I was about to consider using 'regular ground coffee beans' :-)

BIG IRONY HERE: anything remotely vegan, plant based, healthy is rediculously expensive in my country, or near impossible to find. So I'm having to DIY almost everything I need. Most stores I've asked have never heard of jackfruit, not even a local speciality fruit & veg market store. BUT, a local value store - the kind that sells cheap stuff - sells actual jackfruit (they look hideous btw). Sooo, I'll be buying a monster jackfruit at my local cheap store so I can make these burgers. The Happy Pear YT channel does a quasidillas using jackfruit - one jackfruit, two great friday night fast-food style dinners sorted! Thank you.
