    I am very weak in English. I can write and read English , but can't speak or listen. The English subtitle has helped me a lot. I searched gut tube embryology and found a lot of videos but i wasn't able to understand. Finally this vedio has enlightened me about gut tube embryology. Your capacity, good quality video and subtitle --these 3 combinations is just wow

    There is a small mistake in animation which can be corrected. At 15:45 the SMA is on the top of foregut and at 15:46 it crosses the gut lumen and rest below the foregut.crossing the lumen is not possible.This could be a bit difficult to understand the Doppler SMA-SMV axis for diagnosis of malrotation of gut. Else the animation and explanation is awesome . Thanks

    • @MedicoVisual
      @MedicoVisual  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much for pointing out the mistake. I'm genuinely interested in addressing this concern, but I'm currently having trouble grasping the exact aspect you're referring to. Could you kindly elaborate a bit more on the issue you've identified?
      I'm eager to learn from this and make necessary improvements, although I must admit that I don't claim to be an absolute expert. Sometimes, despite my best efforts, certain nuances can be missed, and I truly appreciate when viewers like you point them out. It is always a great learning opportunity which I do not want to miss.
      Also, if you're comfortable with it, I'd love for you to get in touch with me directly. You can reach me on WhatsApp at +923037241030 or email me at draizaz@medicovisual.com. Your expertise is super important to me, and I'd be really happy to talk more and learn from what you know.
      Thank you once again for your dedication to improving the learning experience for everyone. Your contribution is deeply appreciated, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    Dear Dr. Aizuz, thank you so much for your work❣️
    I have a question. When we are talking about the human body, the right site is where the right hand for the person about whom we are talking about. Why did you say that the midgut is rotating conter-clockwise when if the person watching his own midgut would say, that it is rotating clockwise?😉

    • @MedicoVisual
      @MedicoVisual  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you are right. In the field of anatomy, when referring to the left and right side of a patient or anatomical diagrams, it is always from the perspective of the patient or the diagram, not the viewer or the doctor.
      However, when a clock is placed in front of a person, it will appear to rotate anticlockwise from both perspectives. Watch 12:59

    • @AnastasijaYelisejeva
      @AnastasijaYelisejeva ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would agree, if we move the viewer to the viewer of the embryo, but keep the clock in it's position as in the video. But if the embryo watches his gut and looks for the correlation with the clock on the wall...😅
      Thank you for your answer!❤

    • @MedicoVisual
      @MedicoVisual  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AnastasijaYelisejeva Then the Embryo will have to view the clock from a mirror. Of course mirror image is inverted.

    I dont know how true is it because lange textbook of embryology writes, 90° rotation occurs outside during herniated phase, 90° counter clockwise rotation occurs during return of the intestinal limb and 90° counterclockwise occurs inside abdomen to reach a final(normal) position, but u showed all the rotation outside during herniated phase

    • @MedicoVisual
      @MedicoVisual  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your astute observation! You are absolutely right about the textbook description of the embryological rotation of the intestines. I did mention in the video that there is a total of 270 degrees of anticlockwise rotation, which occurs in two phases: 90 degrees during herniation and an additional 180 degrees as the intestines retract back into the abdomen.
      To avoid confusion and make the animation clearer, I chose to simplify the representation and not show the rotation during retraction. The process is quite complex, and I wanted to ensure that the fundamental concepts were understood without overcomplicating the visual. I appreciate your attention to detail and hope this clarification helps. If there are any more questions or if anything else is unclear, please feel free to ask. Your feedback is invaluable for improving our learning resources!
