My fav books this past week were Homestead (Claire Kent) and The Stolen Mackenzie Bride (Jennifer Ashley) At first I wasn't super excited to go back to Ian's ancestors but by the third act I was so invested and emotional.

And it really makes you work for the romantic payoff, but that wall kiss is one that will be seared into my brain until I'm in the retirement home 😂 Also, I haven't read it myself, but The Road Home by L.A. Witt is an MM romance where one of the MCs has HIV. It looked like it has some other heavy topics in it as well, such as meth addiction, so it seems like a pretty emotional one. But I've seen people say the topics were handled with care.
I haven’t watched one of your videos in a while, they stopped recommending them in my feed, and I’m so glad to catch up! Also, the only time I get to “read” is listening to audiobooks on the way to and from work. And I have to decide if I want to listen to music. An audiobook. Or youtube videos. :O Also, while writing this you welcomed a Megan L and I was like…that’s not me but it’s the best name ever! Except for Megan C, since L is my maiden name’s initial. XD
I have been feeling the same in the sins of the father series, you said it so much better than I’ve been able to put into words. Cus I do love mafia romances but something about some of these just leave me not rooting for the couple at all I’m like get this guy away from her 😂🙏
