Hi Neil I also live in norfolk and also what you was diagnosed is the same as me I was 8 weeks before you February 2023 same surgeon Lille also same reacurance 18 months later. My question is. After 0.1. It raised 0.3 then 0.4 pet scan no show at 0.4. Was told to wait until it raised again 3 months later it’s now 0.6. But they want it to go to 0.8 before my next pet scan as nothing showed up at 0.4. My next pet scan is April booked. You have had your radio treatment now. So did it show up on your pet scan or have they guessed where they think it was. Thanks Alan
Hi Neil, I just found your channel. I had my prostate out at the Norfolk & Norwich hospital in May 2010 aged 55 ever since then I get my PSA level checked every 12 months and its always been 0.01 just had done again in Oct its now 0.1. I rang our surgery to see if I could have another one, they were reluctant to do it but I insisted so I,m having it done again on 23 Dec so fingers crossed. Thanks for sharing your story.
@@pauldallimore8062 Paul thanks for finding me. I'm down south in the county near Attleborough. Just interested in what surgery you have your psa test down because the Norfolk n Norwich will only test to 1 decimal place which I disagree with. Don't blame you for pushing. Keep in touch mate
Neil, Having shared this useful video to a friend whom having the same scenario like you and anyone else is the most meaningful act to do. Thank you again for your great effort in sharing these info, very much appreciated, Larry😊
Don't pay any attention to the negative knuckle heads Neil. I went through radiation about the same time as you with very positive results so far. Keep the faith brother!
Thank you for sharing l had radiation 14 month ago as well as ADT therapy My PSA was 0.31 in August I will check it in January & see my GP & the urology dept about urinary issues In September I went to ER because pain in area near bladder I thought I might need a catheter but the very long wait in ER the pain went away They did urine & blood tests & all was ok I didn’t need catheter but my bladder wasn’t emptying completely I take Tamisolsan 2 pills a nite My dx came in April 2023
Thank you Neil for your videos which are so good. I had a radical prostatectomy 12 weeks ago. Struggling with incontinence issues somewhat, leaks and urgency. Did you have any of that? Good luck for the good results continuing. By the way from London.
Cheers mate for your comments. I was so lucky I had no incontinence whatsoever. Catheter 2 weeks then just training the bladder for another 2 weeks then all back to normal. Appreciate your time and hope all goes well. Keep in touch if you want any more info with upcoming blood psa results. Neildavidson5959@btinternet.com.
