    00:35:26 The commentary is so amusing and charming on some of these liftoffs. Everyone has such a special part to play, not just the engineers and the astronauts. I'd make my own commentary: The throttle up call acknowledged by the Commander, joined on the flight deck by the pilot and flight engineer, out for a quick run to the International Space Station for a cosmic coffee break!😆🚀

      It was often seen in space. So can the International Space Station, which I was able to see with my brother's good telescope a year ago, as well as the Soviet space shuttle Buran before it was put out of service due to the collapse of the USSR.
      Besides, the sound barrier isn't that hard to break anymore. Every aircraft carrier has jets with that capability, and even Iran has some old F-14 Tomcats, and those only use turbines (much slower than rocket engines or even scramjets).

    • @GoToSpace_GTS
      @GoToSpace_GTS  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The Space Shuttle as all space rockets need to roll in order to be able to go in the right orbit (inclination). They start vertical, but need to end up horizontally in Earth's orbit. As for the astronauts staying upside down and being under high G's at liftoff, they are trained to be able to withstand such conditions.
