What a great experience for Cheyenne, and she's looking very grown up! Beinn Each is such a lovely hill, perfect on a day like that. I did my first ever winter walk on Beinn Each, in 2016. Other people in the group lent me the gear I needed and I learned a lot, but I found it really tough and my fingers were freezing because I didn't have decent winter hillwalking gloves. Things are very different now!
Thanks Natalie. I did Beinn Each in 2016 too, but in Spring and together with Stuc a'Chroin, still some snow on the tops that time, but very little. I remember my choice of pathless descend with a lot of Forest/Stream/Fence obstacles at the bottom to connect the Landrover track back to Lubnaig...I started the hike at 5:00 AM and was back home at 11:30 - advantage of the local hills. Cheyenne had always issue with freezing fingers when cold on top of the mountains, but she said this new gloves kept her really warm and dry all the time...which I'm very happy for. All the Best in 2023 ! 🙏🙂👍
@@MountainsPassionPetrDakota Wow, that's a very fast time for those two hills as there's quite a distance between them. Happy New Year to you and your family too!
@@natalieminnis Would be a different time in winter conditions ( even an easy hill is much harder in Winter so you did well to manage it especially when for 1st time in Winter conditions ), it was very little snow on some parts of top only when I did it that time. Descending on wet grass and dealing with the forest, stream and fence at the bottom made it slower, but more interesting...but the straight landrover track at the bottom offered good pace and fast progress back towards car, then 40 mins of driving time home.
