I loved Seeing Krampus, and his Voice is just great, how he is saying "Naughty" just makes me Smile. Bud is as precious as always and monroe will always be a Treasure. Rosalees past seems to get darker everytime we dive into it, but Monroe brings out the Light in her. Seans and Adalinds Story in Austria gets even more tense. Always love your Reactions to Grimm
Re: Krampus From what I understand they're a type of wesen, so there's not just one of them & all of them would be wogeing over that three week period, kidnapping & what not. it's just that none of them can remember so they remained unknown by other wesen (other than in folklore). As for the Verrat, they're mostly Hundjägers, and serve the 7 royal families as enforcers/hitmen/bodyguards.

From what I understand, Krampus is a special type of Wessen. They only vouge during Christmas season and they don't return to their human form until Christmas. They also have no recollection of their actions during that time.
I haven't found any information about wesen Krampus from any other source that isn't in the show. But I would assume that it is a genetic line, and since this person has experienced it before, it's happening to him, and possibly to his relatives. So I don't think it randomly jumps from person to person. Since the Grimms seem to gain their power when another Grimm is dying, Krampus could have an upper limit to the number that can exist at one time. And finally, this should not be called Grimm, it should be called The Bud Show.
I'm guessing that like all Wesson, it's genetic. His family line has this curse. Since he and his family don't change like other Wesson, they are never caught.

My guess is that Krampus is a rare kind of wesen, maybe a mutation, that only woges once a year and has no memory of it and no control over it. So since the rest of the year they remain "normal" - they don't know anything about wesen and the wesen only have stories about them.
This episode needs a lot of work. Some things need to change about Krampus. The first is to get rid of the coal aspect. Krampus beating and abducting naughty kids and leaving them hanging in a tree is a good idea, but not him eating them. This should be a very rare type of Wesen that the change is related to a past trauma and the form of the change is that of something from stories or folklore. In this case it is the story about Krampus. The Council sees these Wesen as a threat to the safety of the Wesen community and they are usually killed quickly which is why no-one knows about them. Now that they know what triggers his transformation Nick and his friends can make plans to keep him contained. Also in this episode Sean informs Nick and Hank about the crime scene at the cottage, Adalind being involved, and that Adalind gave birth before leaving. Hank is concerned that child might be his, but Sean puts his mind at ease since Adalind was not pregnant when she came to see him with a red wig. Sean has a feeling the child is probably his and is concerned that it was born after only 26 weeks and no reports from any medical facilities about a premature baby being brought in during that time. Monrow and Rosalie deal with her issues about Christmas. Juliet continues interacting with her memories but avoids the ones of when she moved in and when Nick proposed.

Yes whenever I buy presents I always have them gift-wrapped. I've never once wrapped my own, I'm all thumbs you see.
It's also a good guess that the curse chooses the strongest male, to perform the actions of Krampus. So there could be multiples around the world.
