Thanks a lot! Got a question thought, if I want to create my lower third with After Effects and not want to use the NDI app, how can I set up my in and out animations for it on GT Designer? Do I have to render separately in and out transitions from AE and then add them with a delay for the out? Thanks a lot
@@avalancheofawsome yes I have! Once you've added an image, add an animation as an image sequence. You can choose between animating in and out. The 'out' being a simple reversed play of your image sequence. Once saved you can open it in vmix, overlay it and when you click it again it will animate out. It might sound a bit confused, I'm not in front of the software to give you the exact functions sorry!
how can we put illuminations in the text. d what form can we place the image that goes in and out with more intencity or less intencity but that is constant while we have the text on screen?
Thanks! I have a lower third title design that lasts 5 seconds (with an in and out animation) as an image sequence, and above I have put different text boxes. How can I make the text boxes disappear while finishing the sequence?
You can encode with programs like Afer Effects using MOV and alpha. Check out some TH-cam Tutorials if you were looking to create some.

@@vMixhd I use Davinci Resolve and did try many ways to export as .MOV or .AVI with alpha, but these files could not be converted to Image Sequences by VMIX Video Tool. They give me an error message (I created a topic in Vmix Forum showing the error printscreen). The only way I could find using Davinci was export directly from Davinci an Image sequence as .TIF files and then opened these images directly in GT Designer.
@ I am experiencing similar issues. Tim said that he made the conversion in vMix. He didn't show how he did it though! Tim, can you show how you made the conversion in vMix?
@ I can't wait three months for a response. Here is how I fixed my issue. I had to reSHOOT the scene using a camera that records .MOV files! I hope that things worked out for you as well.
WARNING!! Animations in do not automatically transition out!! You must do this MANUALLY.... or create a series of triggers and shortcuts... The way your animated title plays in GT title designer when you hit the "Play Transition In/Out" button is NOT how it actually works in vmix! Don't use the delay property for TransitionOut, it's worthless. You can create a series of triggers, but there is only 1 function relating to animations, and that is only to BEGIN an animation... The limited amount of triggers and the usefulness of most of the functions... is for another comment...

Actually after effects does render the image sequence files too so just render them in images sequence like png or target files
Did you figure it out? I've managed to get my animations in all perfect but I can't figure out how to trigger the animation out manually

Excuse me asking, but does using title designer sections create a GPU dedicated memory leak. Perhaps if they are contuously running that is?

You could create the Lower Third with the effects you want in After Effects and then convert them for use with GT.
