If you don’t like glazing, perhaps you could try dip glazing for anything that would need clear glaze. You could just mix up a large bucket and dip them a batch at a time.
There are so many wonderful glazes that can work together or Resist each other, part of the fun of ceramics is the surprise you get when you open your kiln! Best of luck to you in your new adventure! ❤😊

At the moment I use too many different colors to make dipping glazes cost effective. One day hopefully I'll get there

OMG! How do you not know what kind of kiln you have? That was my whole reason for watching your low cost pottery studio tour!😩.

I’d love to have a home studio! I feel very limited at our community ceramics studio because I can’t experiment with underglazes and glaze colors etc. I do a lot of hand building as well and would love a space(other than my kitchen island) to work. Looks great!

Thanks! If you can do it you totally should! I was a community studio prior and felt so limited as well. I have experimented so much since building my own :)

Great Studio you can drill your own bat pins in your wheel, there is a few vidos on how to do it

I have thought about this. I feel like I am going to mess it up. 😬

I was going to comment the same! I have a cheap VEVOR wheel, and we added bat pins. (We didn't even watch a video. I just asked my husband after I bought the pins and the bats. LOL) LOVE it!

@@houseofkenney5062 Okay maybe I'll have to take the plunge and just puts holes in it. Having bats would be so helpful!
