Planting My Vegetable Garden and Heuchera May 2024 Zone 7a | ASMR Yard Work | Outside Sounds

In today's episode, plant my vegetable garden and 2 Heuchera (Coral Bells) and clean up the last of my overgrown thickety forsythia hedge in the middle of May 2024. I have SUCH BIG PLANS to DIY the *ish out of this yard to make it so I don't have to ki!! myself taking care of it as I age.

I inherited this home in March 2021, and have been struggling along with some areas in the yard, and it's been until last year (2023) that I have been able to figure out some general things like where to add hardscaping and additional beds to make the overall maintenance of the yard that much easier.
My guess is that it'll take 5 years to get it to the point where all I'll have to do is mow and mulch. That sounds much easier than all the work I'm doing on it now. Fingers crossed!
