I think what makes MacG stand out from the rest of these Podcast and even Broadcasters.. Its his ability to listen and he doesn't try to make himself smart on certain subjects especially politics and other current affairs. He is not in denial of his weaknesses while he also understands his strengths. He has a way of incorporating humour and maintains his rawness and authenticity even in these kinds of serious discussions. He remains true to himself and his biggest strength, is to be able to make his guests feel comfortable amd see him as their friend.. Not the host.

As a millennial, I actually really enjoyed this episode. The panel was great and didn’t fight to get their points across. They all definitely gave us something to think about ❤

True. I did too. MacG curated this well. The atmostphere was educational and empowering more than fighting out ideas. We need this kind of active citizenry. It needs to be as cool as being a chiller. The chillers will now be part of the greatest electorate South Africa has ever had. The next elections in 2029 and 2034 will need us to be fully engaged and using our political rights up, not just voting.
What an important conversation. I needed this. I am 27 years old and it will be my first time voting this year, still not sure who to vote for, but I am registered. Shout out to all the first time voters, we will make the difference. #firsttimevoter2024

It was a very meaningful dialogue. One thing I can't wrap my head around is how everyone kept it respectful. Freedom of expression yet civil with each other. It was so much needed as we are beckoning one of the most defining elections in this country.

On the issue of the EFF, I feel like these guys didn’t do justice to challenge the white. He makes examples with the Venezuela and Cuba but he left out the devastating effects of the US sanctions on both those countries, before the sanctions Venuezela was thriving, the fall of oil revenue also played a role since they had not diversified their economy. EFF is proposing China lite sort of economics, the government owns the land in China, I live in China and I can attest to it.

Reckless speach by the leader is another one, "Creative ways to get into SA"... Besides this, I think they might have more accountable leadership unlike ANC. ( I might decide at last minute to vote for them and not African Christian Democratic Party😅) . They have a leader who is involved and interacts with people. The EFF is a game changer in our politics, I think the most articulate and hardworking party. I don't have to like the individuals but I love their politics.
The problems of RSA 🇿🇦 are deep and the EFF don't intend to do copy and paste solutions which doesn't disrupt the culture.
EFF goes into the molecules and atoms of our societal problems which repairs long-standing problems and coming up with strategic solutions.
