Surely... surely he'd call Sammy "Samuel" as "Sam" is just as much of a nickname as "Sammy". Also, when he reaches Sammy's great age of 20, he'll have to call himself "Albert" not "Bert" Who's got the superior intellect now, "Bertie"?
Zaina Soliman actually i disagree. i think he sounds more like daniel radcliffe and that you only think he sounds like tom is because he played his onscreen son.
This is great. Is it weird I was reminded a little bit of the scene in Uncle Buck where Macaulay Culkin's character interrogates John Candy? That probably is weird because it isn't that similar; it just stuck in my head for some reaosn.
***** Ha...just wanted to make it sure I was only referring to the content of the scene, I'm not trying to say you resemble Candy or Bertie resembles young Culkin
I vote for Bertie in this persona as "sexiest nerd on earth." Nice vid; nice story and dialogue and acting; nice denouement. (How's that for pretension.)
Amazing video, brilliant ending and and Bertie Gilbert Films being probably the best actor that could ever play that role. Your videos are so, so great and I really can't praise them enough
Really enjoyed it, a lot more dialogue driven that what we've been seeing, and you managed to pull it off quite well! I liked what you did with the centred shots facing the camera, think it worked really well with the type of dry, background music free, dialogue. Can´t be sure that was what it was supposed to convey but that was what i got from it and I liked it! Can´t wait to see what you came up with next!
Your videos make me happy. Thank you, Sammy, and Bertie as well. Well-written dialogue, good acting, quality filming, the works. Can't wait for more. Cheers, mate!
So I randomly decide to watch this video and then it so happens to be exactly 3 years since it was uploaded, and the description so happens to say "THREE years makes all the difference". And on top of that there are 419 comments and the vid is 4:19 long. My mind has exploded.
The ending got me. It just really understood where I was coming from. We connected almost instantly. We're very much in love and we don't care what you think.
Usually I'm quite verbose in my praise comments. I'm just hoping my general happiness will be portrayed through my following shout = "yaaaaaaarrrrrrghhhhhhaaaghhhaagaggggyyaaaa"
Usually I'm quite verbose in my responses. I'm just hoping my general thankfulness will be portrayed through my following shout = "hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaiiiiiiggggggggggggooooollllippp"

Ohhhhh NOoooo
Oh man this video was so well assistant directed ;)
Nice one buddy, good schtuff
So well assistant directed, in fact, that the man who was assistant director could only be criticised if he posted a comment hinting at his role.
Not as well assistant directed as Project: Library, but yeah, pretty good I guess.
Bertie would be amazing at playing Christopher in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Yes!
Omg that would be so good
yes. omfg I can't unsee it
I LOVE THAT BOOK
Evie Moran is that a Broadway play too ? I saw something with a similar name once but I don't remember it
LOL that was great! the "only child vibe" line XD *died*
I'm just sat here waiting for a full series of 'The Art of Seduction'. So, there's that.
good good good v good yes mmhm I'll probably write a more productive comment in the morning
I'll be waiting.
You lied to me.
I'M WORKING ON IT
+meowitslucy Wow. This was a year ago... Thats some procrastination...
+Joseph Haslam LOL
Bertie's character reminds me of Draco Malfoy...
+Mabel Danciguer funny thing that he played scorpius, dracos child, in the last movie then haha
+Annie DeFay Hallworth I didn't know that! That's awesome!!!
I was feeling Artemis Fowl myself.
+Annie DeFay Hallworth oh the irony! but same
+Holly Boreham I was looking for this comment
Fuck yes this is my favourite side of TH-cam
not too shabby sammy, not too shabby...
I'll take it.
Surely... surely he'd call Sammy "Samuel" as "Sam" is just as much of a nickname as "Sammy". Also, when he reaches Sammy's great age of 20, he'll have to call himself "Albert" not "Bert"
Who's got the superior intellect now, "Bertie"?
He's not Bertie
@@ShadowLegend300 thats Bertie
So he was actually Michael Jackson...
I enjoyed watching this. I'm gonna do it again.
Daymn, gunna be makin' me some serious dollar.
If Bertie needs a new baby sitter hmu
He is just like Scorpius Malfoy 😂
No he's not. Scorpius is a sweet cinnamon roll.
No way, Scorpius is the sweetest kid ever
can't tell if the replys are joking or not
no... hes totally like draco but not scorpius
U reilise he played Scorpius in the movie right?
Bertie sound a bit like Daniel Radcliffe or is that just me
If he sounds like anybody related to Harry Potter, it would be draco
Zaina Soliman actually i disagree. i think he sounds more like daniel radcliffe and that you only think he sounds like tom is because he played his onscreen son.
Right now he reminds me so much of Scorpius Malfoy😂
Oh my gosh yes!😂
Noooo, Scorpius is the sweetest kid ever!
Klee Alise14 i love all the Malfoy comments considering he was Scorpius in DHP2
My god why do you not have more subscribers?!
Um, I'm retty irregular uploader and my stuff isn't necessarily particularly suited to a typical 'TH-cam audience'. I guess?
speaking as a 20 year old nanny, currently working on a novel: I love this video!!!!!
haha, part of me already expected that answer, so it would have been okay ;)
its been 7 years, where are you now?
Bertie's a gem :)
That he is.
Thank you dodie for leading me to this person!
This is great. Is it weird I was reminded a little bit of the scene in Uncle Buck where Macaulay Culkin's character interrogates John Candy? That probably is weird because it isn't that similar; it just stuck in my head for some reaosn.
Hadn't seen it before, looked it up and bloody loved it. Oh young Culkin.
***** Ha...just wanted to make it sure I was only referring to the content of the scene, I'm not trying to say you resemble Candy or Bertie resembles young Culkin
Bertie was 17 in this wtf why don't the 17 year old guys in my class look like bertie
Bertie reminds me of a younger Sherlock
I love how done Bertie is in this!
Wonder how they managed to film this without laughing the whole time?
I'm simultaneously reminded of Peep Show and everything Edgar Wright, nice one!
I don't think I could conjure a kinder compliment if I tried.
I keep coming back to this. ‘I don’t see how I’ve been made an arse out of’ is so beautifully British 😂
The ending killed me 😂😂😂
Has Bertie's voice gone down another octave?
He's a man now.
I think i watched this 8 times cause i love bertie
My favorite! 4 years later, still the best!
Sammy this is wicked cool! It's really nice to see something so dialogue focused. I think it's often overlooked on youtube YOU LITTLE SCAMP, YOU. :]
Yeah, and get you making a sketch!
2:05 Now that is NOT true, in middle school it’s a problem but at high school people already start noticing you!
PERFECT!
All the lines were great
Obviously this was a script heavy video, so thanks, nice to hear :)
I found you Kody! That was creepy I was reading comments and I was like oh hey :) and yes it was a great video x
I vote for Bertie in this persona as "sexiest nerd on earth." Nice vid; nice story and dialogue and acting; nice denouement. (How's that for pretension.)
Woah, it's been ages since a TH-cam sketch wasn't predictable, this took me for a freaking ride man, thanks!
He's like a little Sheldon Cooper! :D
Shhhh, we don't talk about that show.
...I don't quite know what to put to that. ....Sorry Babysitter?
So basically...babysitting Sherlock Holmes.
Amazing video, brilliant ending and and Bertie Gilbert Films being probably the best actor that could ever play that role. Your videos are so, so great and I really can't praise them enough
ive never related to a character more. thanks
Everything about this is perfection
I've watched this about eight times in a row, I regret absolutely nothing...
“People don’t like hanging out with me” honestly same
Honestly getting such Artemis fowl vibes right now
I liked this. Bertie's dry retaliation and the quick dialogue
Bertie is the MAN.
That means a lot dude. This was somewhat of an experiment on my behalf to mess with power shifts in dialogue. Really glad you liked it :)
I turned 15 on the day this video was published :)
This is definitely what Eroll sounds like from Uncle
You see, if i were to become a popular youtuber, I would want to get there making videos sammy style. YEAH!
So, infrequently?
***** No, just so EPIC
UR VIDS ARE GREAT
this is fucking amazing
Your videos make me happy. Thank you, Sammy, and Bertie as well. Well-written dialogue, good acting, quality filming, the works. Can't wait for more. Cheers, mate!

Haha, made me think of all the 20yr old babysitters I know. Great video guys!

Yeah ***** is an absolute legend / life saver.
So I randomly decide to watch this video and then it so happens to be exactly 3 years since it was uploaded, and the description so happens to say "THREE years makes all the difference". And on top of that there are 419 comments and the vid is 4:19 long. My mind has exploded.
I see that Project Library t-shirt there!
Nice one Sammy. Really well put together and great dialogue. Well written, lighting, the works.
Thanks buddy, that means a lot coming from you :)
Bertie quoted tomska when he was talking about intelligence
how have I never seen this? so brilliant
that Edgar Wright influence at the start...
this is what I'd imaging babysitting a kid version of Sherlock would be like
Really loved this! Great dialogue/chemistry too and defo didn't see the ending coming haha!
Glad you liked the punchline, really wasn't sure how I was going to end it when I first started writing.
The ending got me this was brilliant
The ending got me. It just really understood where I was coming from. We connected almost instantly. We're very much in love and we don't care what you think.
Sister! I felt as if I related to it on an emotional level, it understood my thoughts and feelings and actually, we are very much in love aswell.
Yep, you got me with that ending!
bert and sav talks alike and its the most wonderful
I just noticed Intergalactic Clash Of Evil Pirate Robots spells ICOEPR. Also is that the kid from Project Library?
I think you're the first to pick up on that (and yes, well spotted).
this is actually so amazing
Love the Edgar Wright influence :)
Fantastic. Just Fantastic.
That was absolutely brilliant
As is your profile picture.
I've watched this like 10 times I know it off by word
Love the twist
Best. Twist. Ever.
Now Eddie has a real baby!
Bertie's perfect for this. I cannot begin to even.
Type cast.
This is so good. You and Bertie really gelled.
Trust me, I was just playing catch up. He led it.
Oh wow. oh very very wow. best dialogue. :')
Thanks Huw. I have some more play recommendations, I must run them by you.
