- It was nice to have some family visit for the week back home in Massachusetts. We only got tp play one round of disc golf the whole week and I somehow managed to bring the camera along. We didn't play amazing disc golf but we sure had a good time on this fun 9 hole track. This summer is shaping up nicely for more videos to drop!

This is why you'll always be my favorite pro disc golfer. Acknowledging your own humanity and respecting yourself enough to know that it was an emotional moment and having your first thought be about how it affects the others you're playing with is showing so much maturity that you don't see a lot these days. As a proud dad myself, I have to give your proud dad the highest of praise for raising such a respectful and honest man such as yourself.
Seriously Simon. Just can't believe you lost control like that. I had to go for a walk afterwards. Actually I called my mom too just to tell her I love her and that I didn't know if life was going to be the same after this. Also I have had larger outbursts on a Saturday morning 9 at my local ball or disc golf course. You're good my dude.

Playing disc golf with my dad is something I never got to do, I’m glad you have these opportunities and I hope you take them to heart. You’re a great disc golfer and role model, my 7 year old son loves the videos and disc golf! Good luck this year!

I don’t know if Simon reads comments, but I just want to say that your positivity is the reason why you’re my favourite pro disc golfer. You are always so happy and kind and if you get a little bit angry in competitions (not that you would do it often), it doesn’t matter! We all get angry sometimes! I hope I will see you play at the European Open since I live in Finland. 😄

You were definitely caught a little behind taking pictures and signing discs when he aced the first one. After trying the hole 1 CTP I snagged a chance to get a picture and an autograph, just wanted to day thank you for all that you did that day, it was super wholesome and humble, and it's reasons like that no matter where you are on the leader boards or rankings, you'll be Number one for all of us, especially because you represent us New Englanders👌👌👌

I didn’t see the coverage but if I watched this I would have just laughed. You seem such a nice heartwarming guy during your day to day, so when I see you get super frustrated during coverage and throw a disc down it just reminds me that you do take the game really seriously.
I think your action of laying down would make a card mate laugh if anything, it’s better than just throwing a disc down and being angry in my opinion lol.

Nice to see you again Simon! I was gutted for you at Jonesboro. Don't worry about your reaction on the 17th - it's only natural to get frustrated from time to time, especially when things aren't going our way - many have reacted much worse. As players it's okay to show emotion when things go great, so why do we have to pretend we have no emotion when things don't go great?! It doesn't make sense!
A little birdie tells me you may be coming to my home town of Christchurch, New Zealand next year for a tournament. When I heard that I was excited because I'd definitely come down to follow you and your card . . . but I'll be overseas at the time! Super gutted I'll miss you. But that's ages away, there's so much still to happen in 2023.

haha that was the first tournament i'd ever been to. Followed you Eagle and Corey on Saturday and we could tell you were all just OVER IT lol. Hey it is what it is, it really enlightened me to how important and difficult the mental side of this game is. (and having 100 quiet people standing around watching seems sooooo weird, even as being one of *them* rather than the one being watched lol. It was hella somber feeling which surprised me. ) Thanks for the post, good luck next time out!

Simon, you’ve been really hard on yourself this year. You’re using new discs for a new company, and it’s impossible to imagine that you’ll have the same connection that you did with your previous bag. We’ve seen what you can do, and we’re happy to wait for you to be consistently there :)
