Dude I’m with you! It instantly takes me back to my childhood and running to the mailbox to see if the new issue came. I am also nerding out over the articles and ads. Damn! I wish I kept my Nintendo powers! I have one left and it is the Battletoads one you got in the video. Such an awesome game and magazine!
I loved the earlier Nintendo Powers, when they used a lot of clay models and live action looking things on the covers. I started getting them monthly around issue 3-4 and subscribed till around #50. Once SNES started to become the main system, I didn't need it anymore, as I skipped the 16 bit Gen and went straight to PlayStation. They definitely helped me through a lot of tough spots on a ton games though!!!
Man see those Nintendo Power magazines brought me back. I remember when I was a little kid, I use to go around to yard sales with my mom, and there was this one that had a ton of them there, I'd kill to see something like that now a days while I'm garage sale hunting - or at the very least to have the knowledge to have bought them all and kept them in good shape and all throughout the years. Seeing them really brings me back to the days of when there wasn't really an thing for tips and tricks or strategy guides (at least how they are now). It was either you or your friends figured it out, or you had something like this where you had access to some of that stuff. Great find man. I agree with you on the box protectors, even if the game and all looks amazing anyways, putting one of them on it makes it just pop that little bit more. I think that is partially due to the protection you have on it now and it just gives you the mentality of it being nice anyways but now it safe and therefore comes across as just that much better. Everytime I see you hit up the bins, I get stoked for you man. Always happy when you find some cool stuff, but not going to lie a little bit jealous of just the experience you get to have at them. Just because they are there and I'm a big fan of Dragonball, I probably would of just grabbed them DVD's you showed, even if they weren't complete it would be a cool thing to have. Been a long time since I watched a Terminator movie, although I have picked up the collection on Blu Ray. Should probably go back and check them out sometime soon. Nice hit on those couple of games though, all some very nice titles for sure. Finds like that and for the price you paid for stuff, def a reason why I LOVE YARD SALES. I'm not a big comic collector either, but have picked up some just based on them looking cool, mainly the ones I have are ones I find that relate to Venom/Carnage. Aside from the video game side of things, I just try to find stuff I find to be cool or stuff from when I was a kid. Love that Green Ranger toy, either him or the White Ranger have to be my favorite one of all time. Probably have to lean towards the Green though for not only being the OG, but how can you go against the Dragonzord. I have some VHS and DVD's of MMPR, another thing on my backlog of media I need to get too. Plug n Plays are a cool thing, and a great little throwback. Even though a lot of them are kinda bleh, they are all still very cool though. I think that other Xbox controller, the one you called an Original one - is actually just a wired controller for the 360, may be wrong since the cord was wrapped around it but that's what it looked like to me. Those toys are really cool, wasn't the green dog toy a Bugs Bunny character, like the per/sidekick of Marvin the Martian? seems right but by all means anyone who reads this and can clarify by all means. Street Shark toys are the grail for me to find, hope to come across even just one of them at some point. Great video as always and congrats on each and all the finds. Until the next one man #Roadto12k
I remember finding early 2000s Nintendo Power magazines at a church yard sale for a quarter apiece and I got ones I was allowed to have. My mom didn't like the horror game issues, lol! As a kid, I didn't care, but now, I wish I got them. Gotta love growing up in a strict household >_
Haha yo! Thanks for the shoutout man! I’m going to have a PO Box package coming your way soon! Thanks for the content! I love my Pokémon box it’s displayed proudly!

Make sure that Superman issue is a first printing. Check inside on the bottom of the page with the indicia. If it’s anything other than a first print it will say it under the last line
Dude nice! I was NOT gonna start collecting VHS, like no room. But then I found a minty Back to the Future Trilogy set. Woops it begins. Anyway nice pick ups DCan!

My brother takes the old ads out of Nintendo powers and other magazines, buys cheap frames at GoodWill, and frames them. They look sick on the walls. He gave me a breath of fire 2 one, and he has resident evil, shining soul, and ff6 ones made so far.
@@TheRetroWorld jeez that’s far. In the future I’d love to work with you/record a video together. Dude 1 days worth of reselling is paying for my trip 5 times over. I scored 10 original Fortnite’s for PS4 brand new sealed and sold them all for about $9000 altogether on eBay same day. I’m still in shock to this day
Sweet finds. Those Nintendo powers are so amazing. Absolutely awesome find
Thanks for watching Robert!

I used to love the Nintendo Powers when i was a kid! I got like 50 in my collection atm, they just don't make these magazines like they use too. :)

I don't have any but nintendo power collecting would be so cool
I hope we can keep finding some here and there. I seriously love all the older ads on the inside!
Terminator 2 was and is my favorite Terminator film. It's also my favorite film of all time.
Check your issues that have power club cards. Idk if the older set had them, but since Madden died his power club card has sold comps in 700s
woah that's insane! I'll have to check and see!
