Jamie its just so many pictures and the video is nice sounds relaxation meanwhile just keep listening while other still thinks she could still play the piano...
It all depends on what version of Photoshop. Really fancy versions can cost a few hundred dollars. I have a very old version of Photoshop that came with my computer. But they sell Photoshop at Costco and Best Buy and other places. You just get the disc and install it in your computer.
I don't remember when or where I got it from. I must have downloaded it from Yessaid or Hereinmyhead or some Tori forum years ago. It might be from a radio broadcast in 1992, but I'm not sure. It definitely sounds like it's from 1991 or 1992.
@hansakalie I agree with PeelOut's reply; I also think its Tori warning herself what would become of her life if she does not become her own girl; "The white coats enter the room", I think thats a reference she feels she will have a breakdown. 1 of my most favorites from her
@hansakalie Like any song, it's completely open to interpretation. Songs can mean many different things to many people. I think 'Girl' is about Tori. Like alot of her songs, she sings in third person when she's talking about herself. She's been everybody else's girl, and she's struggling to find her way and be her own person.
@SapphireJesse08 I'm not 100% sure, but it's possibly from the Mountain Stage performance on 9-20-1992. I don't remember where or when I downloaded it.
In the shadows she finds a way.... Yes with a message from my heart.
Maybe one day....
Thank you for such a beautiful, original video. :)!! I love it, thank you!!
thank you so much for uploading this! I'd never heard an entire version of Girl played with the piano alone and no other keyboard
this is from Bob Harris, BBC In Session 3 February 1992
J'adore Tori Amos and her Magic Music .
such a great selection of work!!
This is better than the album version, I think. Beautiful! =)
I love this. Great job

@CometxNova Little Earthquakes, her debut!
Good song.. I remember it but what album is it on?? To Venus and Back? anyone know?
she always speaks in third person.
I really like this song, even though I am not sure of what the song is about. Can someone please explain it to me?
She reminds me of Emilie Autumn.
this couldnt possibly be performed after 2000, you just hear it, sadly :-/
This isn't the album version. What is this from?
