When I came over here in 1986 there were very few people who played that particular Monroe style... David Mc was one of the few and he did it exceptionally well...
I don´t agree. Just the necessary info in a relaxed manner. I dislike bands that just play one song after the after, without saying a word.... Of course it is all about music, but this is a nice package, enough, but not too much blah blah...
ITS REAL NICE TO SEE A BAND THAT LOOKS LIKE A BAND AND NOT JUST A SOME GUYS WHO LOOK LIKE THEY NEVER MET BEFORE. AND THEY RE A GREAT BAND
That mando tone sounds sooooooooo good on this old recording. Wow.

I got into Bluegrass in the late 80s listening to WAMU. These guys are legend.
These guys pulled Bluegrass back from the edge of being lost when they came out.... Awesome band!
Hello how are you doing today?
That's a good and true perspective. These guys are my bellwether for traditional kickass bluegrass.
Great band.
That has to be the best version of Body and Soul as any I've ever heard!!!!
Agreed
This is some mighty fine music, i must say :)
YESSS INDEEDY INDEEDY you know whats great cuz!👍👍👍👍👍🎼😊
Great stuff! And I love Richard's little forward-roll triplet at 2:46.
Yes! Bernie Leadon does a similar roll. I forgot the song, btw...
I still remember seeing them play several times at the Damascus Maryland at the old carnival grounds when the first started out
That's Marylands own Eddie Stubbs sawin on that fiddle!!
This is amazing! Thank you very much for the footage
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for sharing that video 🎵👍.
Thanks for posting
wonderful share, Tim
That banjo player really looks like a young Tony Rice.
Ole No Tone Stubbs!!!!
These guys talk too much, and they're not telling good stories.
Would you like your ticket refunded?
Go back to listening to Lawrence Welk like you always have !!
