Thanks for this!! My partner and I work fire for the forest service and have a million maps! This is exactly what I wanna do for parts of our house, so I'm really grateful you made thus tutorial video! Very helpful!
How’s it holding up? I’m wanting to do this with a world map under our bar in the kitchen. Does the modge podge create a protective layer that I can just wipe down if it gets dirty?
useful vid for my project. thank you. has the mod podge held well? where the maps appear to overlap - were they pre-cut exactly that way or are there place where there are two layers of maps - in which case do those overlap areas stick out (seep through, bubble more? etc) thanks!
Pezrohi yes it has! Still looks just as good over two years later. All of the map edges overlap with others, so there are areas where there are 2-3 layers of map. They do stick out a bit more since they’re a little thicker, but it’s barely noticeable and hasn’t had any issues with peeling or bubbling!
More preference, I found it easier to work with a bit thinner on such a large surface. If I remember correctly, I used about 1.5 of the 32 fl oz bottles for this 10’ x 8’ wall, with some thinning out. Hope that helps!
thank you very much for this video. Your wall looks awesome!

This is exactly what i was looking for perfect
Thanks! I have a 14” closet in my camper van that I plan to cover in maps and postcards of places I've been.
What size bottle (approximately) is needed for a full size wall?
I’m wanting to exactly the same thing on a wall I’m my bathroom. But it’s a rental. Any ideas as to how difficult it will be to get off of the wall?

I do think the less coated/less glossy papers adhered more easily, the glossier ones bubbled a bit more
@@tashasimone9008 thank you!
Why did you thin out the top coat?
Preference or necessity?
