Doug was a San Antonio treasure. I used to have almost every LP he ever put out back in the day, I think one was when he was Little Doug Sahm, he was a child prodigy and could play many instruments. It's hard to listen to this without wanting to get up and dance around the room! Thanks for posting.
This video is such a shock to me. So talented was Doug and the Quintet (needles to say and the Texas Tornados), but he never appeared to be one to only want the light upon himself . . . seen him in concerts several times, Was so great and his performers as well . . .
