@nyx2903 I sorta agree, i recently finished the game. The missions with the giant set pieces are really fun and immersive. But otherwise, the game is very lackluster as an rpg. Bad romances, boring companions, boring side quests. The main story is very interesting as well as the reveals. The hair physics are incredible. Overall, it doesn't stack up to the best of Dragon Age or Mass Effect, or the first two Baldur's Gate games. It certainly doesn't come close to BG3.
A lot of profit for grifters to make whining about the game. Sadly, less financial incentive for people to just helpfully showcase things for other players.

Playing Inquisition felt like playing WoW, outside the main story areas. Veilguard didn't have that. The maps are smaller and "closed off", but I found it more interesting exploring these areas than open world areas. I had the same issue with Mass Effect Andromeda (which I liked). The open world areas just frustrated me. Especially because they were sometimes hard to navigate. Bioware told you where to go, but then there were obstacles in the way many times and no way around them in sight. I don't like that. Oh, regarding Veilguards companions: Bellara, Davrin and Lucanis were alright in my books. I like those three. The rest I found not very interesting too.
If we had the ability to customise armour colours then alot of these armours would look a lot better, like there's a piece thats used by the veil jumpers and crows but the crows version looks 1000x betters because of the darker colours. Also idk about anyone else but the thumbnails of the armours look much better than what we see on Rook, like you'll see something that look good in the shop but then put it on and realise you've just wasted money on a terrible outfit.
Preview would be nice because the thumbnails keep pissing me off on how inaccurate they are! I've come across 2 nice outfits and only some tolerable ones so far.

The crows outfits having actual feathers killed me (no pun intended). Now I understand why they're so effective as professional assassins. It's pretty easy to kill a person when they're too busy laughing at your clothes to do anything else for self defense.

119 sets, and i only liked 3 of them. Most were underwhelming and looked like civilian attire, and the rest had way too much going on. It also doesn't help that the character is standing all stiff like he's holding in a fart...
I liked so many more of the armors in this game than in Inquisition, especially for mages (what was with the weird trench coats?). The Crow stuff in particular all looked pretty good. I like the Tevinter robes too. Hopefully they add color modding, but at least the actual shapes are nice.

There are lots of armor and attire and transmog but for some reasons I don’t like many of them are. Either they have too many things going on, too bulky, or they make your character bloated. The armor sets I like are from grey warden and some from veil jumpers
@jimy994 idk. Probably both the wolf statues and the memory gateways. I did the same thing this guy did and just unlocked all of them with cheat engine.

I Like How They Brought Back A Bit Of The Silly Chunkiness To Heavy Sets Like In DA:O But The Colors Are Agressively Vibrant On Some Sets And The Palette Choices Are Not Exactly My Taste In Some Cases. Overall, I'd Agree, Inquisition Did Have Some Great Gear (Like The Griffon Armor From A Chantry Playthrough) But It Didn't Capture As Much Of That High Fantasy Feel I Enjoyed In Other Games In The Series.

@kurohime23 I try to avoid spoilers. You'll find the "appearance" very late in the game. It's already a point of no return. You know when it's time as soon as you're in the "fog". There you have to find 3 wolf statues, after you have done that, a chest will appear where the outfit is inside. Unfortunately, this is right before the finale.
So I know that the beginners gear is locked for class and a few are faction locked. I’m trying to figure out if all armor designs can be found or looted? Some of them i have never encountered are like several elven pieces like the armor design that Solas wears without the clothing.

It's a very good thing that you can now wear mage Hawke's armor, because I only liked the mage and rogue Lord of Fortune's armor and the GW's casual clothes Also, I thought Orlais had questionable fashion, but Tevinter folks' are somehow worse

It's such a shame that I kind of hate most of the armor sets. Dragon Age has always been hit or miss with armor for me, DAO was not great. DA2 was much better but still mostly eh and DAI was really quite good on average. I feel like they didn't have someone dedicated to armor design for DAV and just kind of, slapped together concepts.... seeing as how a lot of them are the same armor with a different coat of paint. Ugly set number 12 in garish orange is not fun to look at. And most feel geared towards a tank look... Hopefully people will mod in some nice ones especially something fun for rogues and mages.

I like veilguard but i really wished they did the armors from inquisition in inquisition you could customizes youre colours shoulder pads arms legs and many things more in alot of diff armors. The ones that looked like civilian attire are exposed to be for when you're at the Lighthouse, not for combat, that's why.

Note: They just added a nee Patch 1.000.004, where they fixed the armor bug. You could now equip the white watchers robe.

He is using cheat engine to unlock all the appearances. Quite a few are only available to certain classes and choices otherwise.
