Being dead serious here, investors were inquiring about the soundtrack and they almost had a all EDM and dubstep OST made for Doom2016.
Mick Gordon made it clear that if he couldn't put metal music in the OST he couldn't be on the project.
So that's why we have this bastard child of EDM and Metal ran through a compressor cranked to fuck in Mick Gordon's Doom soundtracks.

As an avid HLB listener since 2013, ever since I heard those riffs from Bellua part 1 and 2 (you know the ones I'm talking about), I've always pictured you guy's music in a film or game score context.
Then you blessed us with the Detestor EP, and I was convinced that you guys are way more than just a metal band, your music invokes such an intense atmosphere that engulfs you into distant worlds that just fuel your imagination.
You guys have been my main inspiration ever since I first discovered your music. And now that you have an entry in the world of scoring, I can only assume that there will be more innovation and story telling with such a vivid sonic pallet.
