Humanity’s Last Breath has been a personal catalyst and soundtrack to my journey of becoming a professional 3D artist. I started listening to them on my first sculpt and 2 years later I’ve been offered a position at EPIC games, and had an interview with Sony Santa Monica’s (God of War) lead art director. It would be an honor to create art for their album as a token of gratitude.

Can't speak for his live stuff, but I am so glad to see people mentioning the vocals on HLB. So much focus on the absolute filth of those downtuned guitars that people forget just how good they are. Yeah he doesn't do anything groundbreaking but holy shit his vocals are the most feral and primal lows I have ever heard. I mean go listen to the song Earthless at about 3:15 into the song. Idc about production or vocal technique that shit sounds like the earth's tectonic plates opening up and something very old and something very angry screaming into space. Swedish people are just built different. I love this band so much it is unreal.
The consistency of the innovation between vildy, HLB, and buster and calle’s project is astounding. This track is profoundly unique and so powerful, it drops my jaw
2:08 in and then the vocals growling when those bars repeat, that is the kind of groove I often miss in music like this, Meshuggah does it best but in this song these guys really took it home. I wish they could groove like in this middle part more often in extreme, down-tuned music like this. It is essential for me.
This band consistently gives me far and away the most cathartic experience I've ever had listening to music. I feel such conflicting emotions listening to them. Their music feels so foreboding to me and makes me so uncomfortable (in the best way) that I can do nothing but put my body in defensive postures: shoulders up to my ears, arms in front of my face as if to protect it, constantly stimming just to let out some of the discomfort I'm feeling... but at the same time I _groove_ through the entire track. And when it ends I feel a huge release of emotion that no other music has given me. They have boldness to never give you that release in the music, to only give it by ending the music and it _works._ These guys are incredible at what they do. Their music is unadulterated, visceral catharsis.
The past 3 days have been nothing but this masterpiece loud as fuck and I can't get over just how good this is. Buster isn't playing around. Next level.

Another crushing track that proves they are the best deathcore band on the planet right now. Nobody touches the apocalyptic wall of slow brooding earth cracking heaviness that this band produces. There is no question that this will be one of the best metal albums of the year 🔥
The closest to this was Aversions Crown Xenocide. That album was pretty much living through an alien invasion watching everything you love die and the world slowly get ripped apart from the inside.
When I first heard Humanity’s Last Breath, it was the first time I’ve been exposed to truly heavy music. They definitelly shaped my music taste, so it makes sense I like anything they ever put out.
I'd like to extend my appreciation to you guys for ascending from the abyss from which you dwell to unleash this cacophony of excellence upon the dying world.
Absolutely brillant dudes. Love the prolonged vocals and crushing drums. Same impactful style that Humanity's Last Breath is known for. I'll be preordering the album for sure.
Most groups i really like usually go to my top 10 list .. but this groups last lp went all the way to the top three list being #1 most listened to .. these guys new lp blows me away.. i bet my neighbors are liking it to cause i crank it up listening to it
