Generally marksman accurate. 2 - 3 MOA is possible with a 91/30 in military configuration with a good bore and decent bedding. Cartridge is .30-06 class - that's why it is still used. Still the main sniper rifle in Finland in a more modern guise. In limited use in Russia and successor states as a forest ranger weapon and also used by guerillas with PU scope. The bubba'd variants can build into modern sniper rifles which will hold their own in accuracy. Actually, Chinese T53 receivers are best for building into a marksman's rifle.
Nice rifle , Tula stopped making Dragoons in 1936, which had different front & rear sights ( arshins ) . Almost all Dragoons were later updated to the sights of the 91/30 ( meters ) . Thus called Ex Dragoons . If the rifle went to Spain as Civil War aide , when exported it was stamped on the receiver Made in USSR .
I went and grabbed the rifle out of the safe. I typically do a lot of research on my older firearms. For whatever reason I did not on this rifle, making some bad assumptions. I appreciate the feedback. It is definitely a 1936 Tula rifle. It has some other hints. Maybe.... It passes the serial number test, but I still need to research. You taught me a good lesson. Thank you.

@@milsurprifleguy7091 It definitely is not stamped made in USSR. So that confirms it was not sent to Spain. Info is very much appreciated.
لازلنا نحتفظ ببعض منها في العراق وهي بنادق جيدة وموثوقة والجيد منها والمحفوظ يتجاوز سعره ١٠٠٠ دولار
They go for about 100$ in the US
IF it's a Tula 1936 it May be a Spanish Civil War veteran depending on markings and other clues.
