Thank you!
Thank YOU!
Very nice. some fantastic fugue writing on display!
Nice! All of these fugues sound great!
Glad you like it, thanks for listening!
These are really fun to listen to! Great individual lines and counterpoint. Bravo!!!
Thank you!
I loved the first entry of the subject in the bass in fugue No 5, with all the suspensions above. I can imagine that music in some sacred piece with choir and orchestra. It would sound sublime.
Absolutely fabulous! Composing contrapuntal music is like breathing to you, very natural, bravo! Soon I'll post my first fugue. Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Nice work Roman, ive started my first counterpoint but nothing like yours!
Thank you Carter!
Sophisticated
Thanks!
You are a genius !
These made me very happy, thank you for posting!
Thanks for listening!
These were great!! Loved them all!
Thank you very much KB!
Lovely!
Thank you Lukas!
You really do lovely work. I had to listen twice!
Thank you!
Wonderful!
Thanks you, Andreas!
It's so beautiful.😩😩😩 I'm even a little jealous)))
That happens to me constantly when listening to other people's music.
Very nice! I love the english baroque style u used.❤
Thank you. I don't do it on purpose, but I suppose Handel has had a significant influence on me.
Very very good fugues!
Thanks!
Wonderfull, 18 more to go.
Thanks, maybe I will.
👏👏👏👏
To echo all the other commenters, this work is absolutely stellar!
Thanks Joshua!
Wunderbar! Die sind klare Kontrapunkte!!
Danke, ich bin froh, dass es Ihnen gefällt!
Very nice; and it is interesting all fugues have almost the same counter subject I - VIII - I.
Thanks! That was one of the challenges. Using cantizans as countersubject is both elegant and useful.
Good fugues! If you told me it was early Bach I would believe
Thank you!
Johann Caspar Fischer 😊
👏👏👏
Thanks, Miriam!
this sounds similar to bach 8 kleine prelude and fugue: fugue in g minor
My favorite is #2
Glad to hear that! I thought that fugue was a bit boring. It's all subjective.
i bet you make a 6 voice fugue in the style of bach's Musikalisches Opfer (highly chromatic and strange subject)
Are you serious?
😎@@namor_onac
Did you improvise all of these?
Also I’d challenge you to create a longer subject that it isn’t just a cadence so that you don’t stick with spamming 1-7-1 as a countersubject. Not that it’s a bad thing, I just noticed it was in all of the fughettas at the beginning
I was sticking to Leonard Shick's tutorials, which I recommend (Subject 5 is longer).
@@namor_onac oh that makes a lot of sense. His fugue structure is fairly typical since it’s what’s taught for improvisation. I’d recommend to look into nicola canzano, richardus, ewald demeyere etc. especially to diversify the sequences and diminutions you use.
Where can I listen to your fugues?
@@namor_onac I don’t compose. Mostly partimento and improvisation. I can post a fughetta if you’d want to listen though I’m nowhere at the level of improvising more complex structures.
These really make clear what I am learning from @leonardschick5257 and @enblancetnoir They sound so elegant. How did you come up with each subject?
Thank you. Most of the subjects are variations of the DO-RE-Mi schema, which can be harmonized as compound cadences.
I just bought your sheet music even though I thought it would be a better exercise for me to write them out myself and analyze. Anyhow, thank you for providing the scores.
Thank you!@@MusicaAngela
