Fun filled shopping trip with lots of price reveals! $$$$
We live off grid in Alaska so we have to make our shopping count when we go into town.
Thank you for joining us!
Good luck shopping
My pocketbook will need it! Lol
Wonderful shopping experience 👏👏👏. Always good to see Miss Lily. Have a blessed day y’all ❤
Thank you Cathy! The herb store is our favorite. It has amazing stuff in it! Thank you for watching us! We got the diatomaceous earth into the lettuce area so hopefully it will help 😊
Great video
Thank you!!!
Great job kids!
Thank you!
great job kids!
Thank you!
Lots of fun shopping. Such a good thing to teach value vs health.
Yes. I agree and thank you very much.
The herb store is amazing. I know we could make probably most things in that store! Lily is such a great side kick for shopping. She always makes me do a check list. "Do you have your wallet, your phone, etc.." she is turning into my mother ! Lol
Great video
Thank you!...
Thanks for the info on the diatomaceous earth! I HAD kale & Swiss card, but yep something ate it. I thought it was the lizards but thinking not now. I just looked it up on lowes here in Florida & it was the same price as yours. I had to cringe when I saw your purse in the cart, we don't do that here 😮 thanks for sharing 😊
oh yeah also wanted to share that Flat tire farm in Alaska makes homemade goats milk soap, it's wonderful & pretty.
Oh my goodness I know. It is absolutely beautiful soap!! I love those guys, they are so adorable! They are one of my favorites, I hope they go big and she sells lots of soaps...very humble, prescious people.
Hopefully one day I can sell my salves online like she is selling her soaps...
Let me know if you have any other creative ideas that you think will sell online...! Thank you for watching us!!!
@@Alaskan6pack I sure will. Hopefully you will get your salves online one day, sure would like to buy them from you. Chrystal & Mr.Reeves are awesome 😊
I know! Great positive energy!!!
i work for Lowes. in Wisconsin 7.16 osb cost 16.98 $. your Lowes looks big nice
Oh neat! Good to know. I love learning prices from different areas. Fun to compare. Yes it's a nice big Lowes. We appreciate even having one close to us! 😊
Hope the mud dries ou soon!
My goodness, I am done already....
Trying to keep a good attitude, but it's hard some days! Getting too old for this! Lol
Appreciate the video. Shopping a lot easier without the snow. How far from your cabin to town?
From our cabin to Wasilla grocery shopping it takes about 1.5 to 2.0 hours one way.
The mileage is probably 50 miles to the store.
It's just all the circus of the road, mud, transferring groceries/ goods and such ! It's crazy. But on the flip side of the coin it's a very private and free lifestyle 🌲🌲
I have 2 ryobi fans for when no power or ac
Those are great too, you are smart to be prepared
hello from MAINE
Hello!!!! Thank you for watching us!!!
How are your prices compared to ours in Alaska?$$$
@@Alaskan6pack cheaper way cheaper
That's good.
Sometimes the shipping here is insane too. It's so expensive to ship stuff here that we have items delivered to our friend in Idaho and HE ships the item to us!! It can save hundreds of dollars $$$
Thank you for watching 😊
inuse that breathbez tea
when you said HUGE I thought you'd do huge
I just bought same mayo in az 9.99
Wow! That's expensive!!!
I do need to start making my own mayo.
It's pretty simple, I just need the electric stick blender.
We have started making our own toothpaste, apple cider vinegar, etc.. trying to expand my scope of self sufficiency.
18.98 East Texas
Thank you for sharing!!! $$$
Hello ladies 🫶
Hello Debbie!!! If I remember, you are in Texas? If so, how is your weather??
@Alaskan6pack yes!! It has been super hot. Yesterday and today (Sunday) temps hit 100+. It's horrible and I'm already dreading the next 3 months.
You are brave Debbie! Wow! Thanks for sharing...
Have you done an episode on how to make your own kefir?
No, I need to buy more kefir grains.... I will get eome soon. It's sooooo worth it. Plus you get way more strains of good bacteria than the store bought kefir I hear. We will be picking spruce tips soon , that's always fun!
@@Alaskan6pack I have water kefir grains coming as I have lactose issues so I want to start there. I hope you get time to do it but probably a lot to ask before summer is over with the garden and chores I am sure. Thanks for answering so quickly
My mom had pretty bad stomach issues , started taking a good kefir and she is feeling better. Hope it helps you!
I am a big believer in detoxifying too.
We are bombarded with toxins from the air to the food....my family does take activated charcoal daily to pull toxins out. We also use fresh lemon juice in water. I AM going to start my own apple cider vinegar soon! I have never tried it but thought I trust my own vinegar is real vinegar...and I am part of the process of it
@@Alaskan6pack sounds good, believe me I’m with you on not putting bad food/liquids in our bodies. I’m doing well now since we have taken out a lot of the terrible foods. My lactose issues are good now because I try really hard to eat clean. Been that way for many years. My body gets angry if I try to cheat, not worth it. Thanks for sharing
I know!! Our bodies let us know! Darn! Lol
Great job kids!
Thank you!!
