I'll skip the details but... the reading started out typical of the readings we've seen but it didn't take long for the situation to go off the rails. As Caputo went farther and farther off the mark, she became angered at my brothers' eye-rolling and head-shaking and angered at the insistence of the others (there were 8 or 9 in the group) that she focus on our family. She did get a few factual things correct... at first. She was not sure of how he died but said it was a blow to the head (Nick was shot in his left temple), so that's close. She said there was another young male with him who had passed much earlier (our uncle was killed in Vietnam in 1967), so that's close. She knew that my brother Tim was carrying Nick's car keys with him... which he was. She knew we were Catholic and laughed that they would catch Hell when our mother found out they went to a medium! But then it descended into b/s from there. She started yammering about a wristwatch and a pair of sunglasses and other stupid things of zero significance. Nick didn't give a rat's ass about that stuff in life and I doubt he'd be bringing it up from the other side. The more the group just shook their heads in disbelief, the ruder Caputo got, insisting (for the umpteenth time) that she didn't care if they believed her or not. It culminated with a profanity-laced temper tantrum and she and her assistants gathered their belongings and left. I don't know what trickery Caputo and her ilk use to find out accurate details like the car keys, and I don't care. It was the umpeenth reading members of my family had attended in the desperate hope of getting justice for our still-grieving parents, and with few exceptions, every reading was the same as the next. At no point during any of these countless encounters were any of us ever under the impression that our Nick was trying to communicate with us. The grieving process is different for families of murder victims and it's compounded when the killer is never found. We don't even know where Nick was murdered , only where his body was found. Every suspect has been cleared. Those seeking to overcome grief should seek the services of a professional grief counselor or turn to their faith. Priests, Rabbis and Pastors of major Protestant congregations are highly trained in the subject. I've come to the conclusion that there IS NO "other side". I did not begin to heal until I accepted the hard, cold truth that our little tow-headed mischief maker was gone... and I was never going to hear any comforting words from him to ease my guilt (I was harshly critical of Nick) and that his killer would likely never be caught. And I didn't need some vulgar witch with a bleached and buffed rat's nest glued to her head to help me heal.
@@yossarian6799 First and foremost, I am sorry for your loss. However, upon reading your response, it's very clear she did in fact communicate with him. Unfortunately, we all have bad days and even mediums have an off day. There was a lot of spirits in the room trying to connect with her, it must be very hard to decipher everything she is receiving all while performing in front of large groups of people. I wouldn't judge all psychics and mediums based off that one experience. It is unfortunate that it had to end they way it did, but it does sound like initially it started off on a good note. Also it must be very difficult when you're trying your best to provide information but the family is rolling their eyes and giving you bad energy in real time.
yup she's exactly right, about feeling things or just knowing things. Sometimes it's very hard to explain to someone that doesn't believe or thinks your crazy. I've tried many years to try and figure out the symbols they show, that's the only thing I do have problems with, and those feelings that I get that I just know. Sometimes very strong smells and bits and pieces in vision that they show. I wished I could have an advocate to help with this, been struggling with it since I was very young. Now I'm in my mid 30's and starting to understand some of the symbols and feelings they show. SHe's so so good, she's got hers down pact, she's def. a natural at this.
That was a tough crowd for her. I'm very empathic and I've met a lot of people that are lying to themselves and they won't acknowledge these signs. It's not bad or unusual, it's just painful and to believe these signs, it opens that wound to be healed and it's hard to let go of something we've carried for so long.

Yeah, the things she said are true. I have an aunt who has gifted like her, and sometimes she told me there were so many souls around her. They wanted to communicate their loved ones who are still alive. Sometimes I met my grandfather who died before I was born. What always amazes me is how quick people are to call her a fraud or a liar when they clearly don’t even realize how this all works. Not only are they ignorant to the process, they’re close-minded and their perspective is extremely limited. For anyone who thinks she’s “faking it” or just “guessing,” here’s some food for thought: First of all, we only see what was recorded and posted. Even if you’re sitting in the audience, you don’t know what happens after everyone goes home-and you’ll see what I mean by that. Second, even within the 10 minutes of this video you see how not everyone speaks up when she’s talking about their loved one. Sometimes people are too shy/nervous to speak up, sometimes they’re afraid, sometimes they’re closed off, sometimes they don’t want to talk about personal information on live TV, and sometimes they simply don’t realize she’s talking about them/their loved one. If you watch more of Theresa’s videos, or videos of any other medium for that matter, you’ll see that this happens OFTEN. Don’t take any time to think things over and actually analyze the situation, just immediately point the finger at the medium 🙄 who is the obvious/easy scapegoat in these situations. Do your research, watch a ton of videos, and be open-minded. You’ll see just how many people forget information about their own family members when they’re put on the spot, even if that family member is sitting right next to them! Some of them end up remembering while they’re still in front of the medium, but some of them don’t put the pieces together until later when they get home, or sometimes even years down the road! Third, you have to understand that the spirits on the other side are not able to freely communicate with living people in the physical world as easily as you can communicate with other living people. Besides the fact that dead people don’t have mouths to speak from, there is no need for verbal language in the afterlife. They have to get creative in the way they communicate with us. They can’t just whisper everything they want to say, word for word, in our ears. This is why you’ll see that mediums are shown images/scenes, are made to feel certain sensations, are drawn to certain people, are shown symbols, etc. depending on which mediumistic method is being used. Finally, if you don’t believe in mediums then don’t watch their videos. It amazes me how many people are angered by the possibility of someone ripping people off, yet find nothing wrong with spewing hate and negativity themselves. You think you’re better than Theresa (in this case), but you’re calling names and making accusations without even thoroughly understanding what’s going on. You’re no better than Theresa or the next person. No one’s better than anyone. Although I find Theresa to have a genuine gift/ability, we still all make mistakes and hurt others whether intentionally or not. Let others believe in what they want and if you don’t believe then go watch videos about something you do believe in. Do something positive. Be kind. Spread love.

i feel like a lot of people don’t understand how connecting with the dead and connecting with people works. i’m not a skeptic of ghosts or communicating with them because i have and i know others who have. however, i am a skeptic of people who claim they are as well, because there are liars and cheats out there. it’s good to be skeptical. but when you’re in a room full of people and a ton of spirits, it’s hard to decipher which story belongs where. it’s like a puzzle and spirit isn’t always specific, they like to play games and let you figure out the meaning. they won’t straight up tell you things. furthermore, if a person is closed off to receiving a message, that makes it harder for teresa to fit the puzzle piece. or perhaps, the piece wasnt meant for that person so you have to try it somewhere else. it doesn’t mean she’s faking, or lying, it just means it’s really fucking hard to fit the ghost to the person, especially if that person isn’t open to receiving a message from their loved one.
You're right! This is the difference when she's in front of a more general audience, rather than an audience of just fans and followers who will bend over backwards to MAKE her guesses fit. Guys, it works like this. Many spirits try to communicate with her at once. She needs to pick one to focus on. Then she communicates with the audience that can relate to that specific info the very spirit gives, which are many. Amongst many, one is specifically related to “that spirit”. That’s why she goes round finding the right people. Her brain is packed full of info, she speaks very fast to get things across. Like whose brother passed away. There are 10 ppl related to that. But specific detail would only correspond to 1 out of 10. That’s why she needs to find the right one. You know what I’m saying?

Goes back to the first women, finally gets a match for the fall, but is still WRONG. He did not fall in the bathroom like Theresa said. 4. WRONG about the crazy haircut, shaved head, hair with lightening bolts. The man was also NOT a barber. Never revisits this. Clearly this is not an issue of mixing up spirits because she would've eventually connected this to someone. She was just incorrect and moved on. Here's the full extent of her reading for the women in glasses: Theresa connects to her husband, only after this women offered the information by raising her hand to a question addressed to an audience of nearly 70 people. She can talk to the dead, yet still has to ask if her father has passed. And what life changing advice or wisdom do they have to share from beyond the grave?? A vague mention of an issue involving legs, and a fall that may or may not have happened in a bathroom. Wow shes good! During the course of these "readings", Theresa never says what anyone looks like, how old they are, how they specifically died, nothing that can be verified, except for obvious assumptions built off the information the people gave her. She was wrong more than she was right and should be embarrassed and ashamed of the exploitation of grief.

We know for sure coincidences and guesses come true. So, what makes more sense? Is she talking to the dead, or guessing and picking up on visual cues? When you're allowed to be incorrect, change initial statements, and search around the audience until you get a hit, the answer becomes very apparent.

The grieving process is different for families of murder victims and it's compounded when the killer is never found. We don't even know where Nick was murdered , only where his body was found. Every suspect has been cleared.

I've come to the conclusion that there IS NO "other side". I did not begin to heal until I accepted the hard, cold truth that our little tow-headed mischief maker was gone... and I was never going to hear any comforting words from him to ease my guilt (I was harshly critical of Nick) and that his killer would likely never be caught.

Unfortunately, we all have bad days and even mediums have an off day. There was a lot of spirits in the room trying to connect with her, it must be very hard to decipher everything she is receiving all while performing in front of large groups of people. I wouldn't judge all psychics and mediums based off that one experience. It is unfortunate that it had to end they way it did, but it does sound like initially it started off on a good note. yup she's exactly right, about feeling things or just knowing things. Sometimes it's very hard to explain to someone that doesn't believe or thinks your crazy. I've tried many years to try and figure out the symbols they show, that's the only thing I do have problems with, and those feelings that I get that I just know. Sometimes very strong smells and bits and pieces in vision that they show. I wished I could have an advocate to help with this, been struggling with it since I was very young. Now I'm in my mid 30's and starting to understand some of the symbols and feelings they show. SHe's so so good, she's got hers down pact, she's def. a natural at this.

What always amazes me is how quick people are to call her a fraud or a liar when they clearly don’t even realize how this all works. Not only are they ignorant to the process, they’re close-minded and their perspective is extremely limited.
For anyone who thinks she’s “faking it” or just “guessing,” here’s some food for thought:
First of all, we only see what was recorded and posted. Even if you’re sitting in the audience, you don’t know what happens after everyone goes home-and you’ll see what I mean by that.
Second, even within the 10 minutes of this video you see how not everyone speaks up when she’s talking about their loved one. Sometimes people are too shy/nervous to speak up, sometimes they’re afraid, sometimes they’re closed off, sometimes they don’t want to talk about personal information on live TV, and sometimes they simply don’t realize she’s talking about them/their loved one. If you watch more of Theresa’s videos, or videos of any other medium for that matter, you’ll see that this happens OFTEN. Don’t take any time to think things over and actually analyze the situation, just immediately point the finger at the medium 🙄 who is the obvious/easy scapegoat in these situations. Do your research, watch a ton of videos, and be open-minded. You’ll see just how many people forget information about their own family members when they’re put on the spot, even if that family member is sitting right next to them! Some of them end up remembering while they’re still in front of the medium, but some of them don’t put the pieces together until later when they get home, or sometimes even years down the road!
Third, you have to understand that the spirits on the other side are not able to freely communicate with living people in the physical world as easily as you can communicate with other living people. Besides the fact that dead people don’t have mouths to speak from, there is no need for verbal language in the afterlife. They have to get creative in the way they communicate with us. They can’t just whisper everything they want to say, word for word, in our ears. This is why you’ll see that mediums are shown images/scenes, are made to feel certain sensations, are drawn to certain people, are shown symbols, etc. depending on which mediumistic method is being used.
Finally, if you don’t believe in mediums then don’t watch their videos. It amazes me how many people are angered by the possibility of someone ripping people off, yet find nothing wrong with spewing hate and negativity themselves. You think you’re better than Theresa (in this case), but you’re calling names and making accusations without even thoroughly understanding what’s going on. You’re no better than Theresa or the next person. No one’s better than anyone. Although I find Theresa to have a genuine gift/ability, we still all make mistakes and hurt others whether intentionally or not.
Let others believe in what they want and if you don’t believe then go watch videos about something you do believe in. Do something positive. Be kind. Spread love.

i feel like a lot of people don’t understand how connecting with the dead and connecting with people works. i’m not a skeptic of ghosts or communicating with them because i have and i know others who have. however, i am a skeptic of people who claim they are as well, because there are liars and cheats out there. it’s good to be skeptical. but when you’re in a room full of people and a ton of spirits, it’s hard to decipher which story belongs where. it’s like a puzzle and spirit isn’t always specific, they like to play games and let you figure out the meaning. they won’t straight up tell you things. furthermore, if a person is closed off to receiving a message, that makes it harder for teresa to fit the puzzle piece. or perhaps, the piece wasnt meant for that person so you have to try it somewhere else. it doesn’t mean she’s faking, or lying, it just means it’s really fucking hard to fit the ghost to the person, especially if that person isn’t open to receiving a message from their loved one.

Guys, it works like this. Many spirits try to communicate with her at once. She needs to pick one to focus on. Then she communicates with the audience that can relate to that specific info the very spirit gives, which are many. Amongst many, one is specifically related to “that spirit”. That’s why she goes round finding the right people. Her brain is packed full of info, she speaks very fast to get things across.
Like whose brother passed away.
There are 10 ppl related to that.
But specific detail would only correspond to 1 out of 10. That’s why she needs to find the right one.

You must have been watching a different medium. If you watch her you see all the specific things she says. But don't bother, some people's minds are closed and it doesn't matter how many specific things she says that are 100% on target.

When she asks a woman, only her," you were just looking at her address book?" and she is exactly right, that was a guess? Not everybody can have an open mind. You don't have to believe. The comfort Theresa brings to people is life changing. And she is never negative.

If you have a closed mind NOTHING will make you believe. And that's okay. The people who have an open mind will take away an amazing experience. Like I did.

All Theresa does is throw out a vague question or statement and then waits for the person to make a connection. If she is wrong, she chalks that up to too many spirits talking at once, then looks around the audience for someone to pin her miss on. Examples:
1. Mother passed w/ something of the brain. WRONG changes this to, the women made decisions for her mother. Dying from a brain issue is NOT the same thing as making decisions for your mom.
2. Legs, unable to move. WRONG about this being the husband. Later changes it to the Dad.
3. No one fell. No downfall either. Tries to change this to the next women, and comes up with NOTHING. Goes back to the first women, finally gets a match for the fall, but is still WRONG. He did not fall in the bathroom like Theresa said.
4. WRONG about the crazy haircut, shaved head, hair with lightening bolts. The man was also NOT a barber. Never revisits this. Clearly this is not an issue of mixing up spirits because she would've eventually connected this to someone. She was just incorrect and moved on.
Here's the full extent of her reading for the women in glasses: Theresa connects to her husband, only after this women offered the information by raising her hand to a question addressed to an audience of nearly 70 people. She can talk to the dead, yet still has to ask if her father has passed. And what life changing advice or wisdom do they have to share from beyond the grave?? A vague mention of an issue involving legs, and a fall that may or may not have happened in a bathroom. Wow shes good!
During the course of these "readings", Theresa never says what anyone looks like, how old they are, how they specifically died, nothing that can be verified, except for obvious assumptions built off the information the people gave her. She was wrong more than she was right and should be embarrassed and ashamed of the exploitation of grief.
This is exactly what she does- exploits grief.
As a medium you don't need to ask many questions. If she speaks to the dead. The dead person should say the name of the person they trying to contact.

@@raphaels33 I'm assuming you mean specific? Sometimes guesses are correct. When you speak in vague generalities like Theresa, you will land some hits. We know for sure coincidences and guesses come true. So, what makes more sense? Is she talking to the dead, or guessing and picking up on visual cues? When you're allowed to be incorrect, change initial statements, and search around the audience until you get a hit, the answer becomes very apparent.
