Apparently inflation doesn't exist here...this Flea Market was frozen in time! We got an amazing stack of OG Playstation 1 & 2 games insanely cheap! Honestly I have not seen prices this cheap out at the Flea Markets since the 90s! We also picked up a boxed Nintendo 64 game super cheap as well and other nostalgic items to add to the collection. @@retrorick promise all of us right now you won’t stop making the great content I suffer from seizure pretty bad and this helps me after the fact but getting some down time cause my bodies so weak and it’s probably one of my favorite things to watch especially love the intro music my girlfriend caught me singing along with the jingle lol so you know it’s a good one

At 7:47 is the original highly sought-after VHS of Back to the Future! There is a few differences from the 86 release to others. You know it's original when it has the yellow MCA logo on the spine and front of the cassette.

This was like last year for me when I found a Mario kart double dash and a twilight princess for GameCube complete for $10 a piece at my local flea and I was confused when I saw them.
I had many finds like that over the years and it was always very hard to keep my mouth shut about how expensive they usually are. Like that one time where someone just had a box full of Pokémon games for at the most 5 bucks a piece. I bought a couple extra for friends that day.
While I am 69, 70 shortly, and don't relate as much to many of your interests, I do like watching your videos for all of the retro commercials. From Canada (Toronto) keep up the good work!

I was out yesterday and found a 3ds case with 17 games inside for 7 bucks and it had over 200 dollars worth of games inside
Hah, I've totally seen "Super Sucker." Rented it not long after it hit DVD in 2003. Very off-the-wall comedy, as I recall. Used some of the same cast and crew from "Escanaba in da Moonlight," which Daniels adapted from his own play.

Nice haul. There are a couple flea markets in my area but the games are just the stuff that is not selling in the guys gamestore or is in a condition that he would not sell in his store so the prices are exactly what the games are worth ... well except that time I got truxton loose for $5 from that booth but I had pulled out a stack of genesis carts to buy and he said $5 each. So I put a few back and paid straight away. Otherwise the flea markets are not worth going to. So jealous.

What a haul of ps1 games! The tenchu series is amazing, my favorite was the 2nd one. That's a have they need to do a full remake of. Re2, Tony hawk 2, Power rangers vhs, nostalgia overload! Awesome job with the vid Rick 👊

Wow!! Super Human Samurai Syber Squad what a cool show back in the 90s. I used to watch this after school .This show came out the same time as VR-Trooper another cool show. Yes both shows where not the best but still i loved watching them.Great find on those VHS & Cheap video games Rick. Forgot to say give Tenchu a try you will like it.

It's called being reasonable. Way before the price hike caused by TH-camrs and those guys who think anything retro should cost a ton of money. I'm glad I finished my collection many years ago, I couldn't afford to get into the hobby now.
As things become more and more collectable, and more in demand, it will get pricier and pricier. I personally love flipping things for profit, and being able to flip within niches that I love is a lot of fun. If you’re aggressive and patient, you can find some of these gems, some might be important to you, or the whole point of this channel, you sell to fund games that are important to tou

The issue is the elitism of these new age collectors. I collected what I did back when is was affordable. Now I can no longer afford to buy the same things again since in some cases have gone up ten times in value.
This is great for selling, I have started to let a few things go. But part of me disgusted how ridiculous the prices have surged. I don't know how people can fork out hundreds of a single game you can emulate for free. It's geek bragging rights that's it.
Yeah I may continue selling stuff and I'm certainly great full my items have value. But I honestly feel like your a rich idiot for blowing hundreds on things I've paid a few dollars for...
@@lordterra1377 at least you have emulation to turn to. As these games get older, they get rarer. Especially in decent shape. So prices going up only makes sense realistically. But social media and platforms like TH-cam help expedite it. But it was only subject to happen anyway. You can still collect newer games at decent prices. Just not the classic and desirable games. And if that’s what you really truly want, you are a part of the demand that drives prices.
