- Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make this pendant you will need -
• 1.2mm wire (16AWG) 1 x 7" (18cm)
• 0.8mm wire (20AWG), 9 x 7" (18cm)
• 0.315mm weaving wire (28AWG) 300cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
• Small beads 3 x 2mm, 2 x 3mm
I no longer put links to tools on here.
The tools I use are:
• Tronex needle nose pliers
• Tronex short round nose pliers
• Tronex razor flush cutters
• Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
• Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
• Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
• Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
• Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

First I would like to say thank you for sharing your beautiful wire wrapped designs with the world...and second you are the one who inspired me to learn how to wire wrap...I'm not that great but I try!😆 how did you start...and did it come naturally or did you struggle at first? Thanks again...and God bless you.
Oh thank you so much. Yes I did struggle, I've been wrapping now for many years and I'm still obsessed and loving it 😊💕
Kelly your work is exquisite and elegant. Is using a bead with a hole instead of a stone. Do your pieces turn out the way you draw them or does the wire create its own idea?
Thank you. I try to draw them down but they take their own course 😆 there's no controling the wire, it really does show me what to make 😂 have fun 💕
Dear Kelly, absolutely fabulous pendant, as usually. I love you work. I have one question to you. It seems that you just cut wire (28GA) on the back side of the wire. Do you have some experience if this is enough? For example in case customer has long hair flying around the pendant or dress.
Thank you. I cut the weaving wire where it meets the other wires so it sits between the wires, if that's not possible, I get it nice and short and bend it around the wire with pliers. I wear my own jewellery when I make peices for myself (I have long hair) and haven't found any problems.
@@KellyJJewellery Thanks so much!
I like the color of the patina. Very dark, without a red tint, even reminiscent of nickel silver.
Do you have a tutorial on how to make this patina color? Thank you.
Yes there's a link in the descriptions of all my videos. I did a short version too. The red ish colour comes from oxidisation, so the next day (or a few days later) you'll get that redish look. So a quick rub with a silver polishing cloth will keep it nice. 😊
This is very interesting thanks for sharing. I was wondering if you have some ring designs. I can't find any
Thank you, yes there's one. I recently bought a new mandrel so more coming soon 😁

Hi Kelly: do you use your Tronex cutters to cut the larger gauge wire?
Nooooo, I use old cheap cutters from years ago, they’re quite tough, or use heavy duty ones like the ones in your dads shed 😅 I don’t think the tronex would survive for long cutting the thicker wires ❤️
New to your channel, I really wanted to see your Etsy
shop. Unfortunately, no matter which search engine I use, I get the warning that it’s an unsecure site that maybe hackers trying to glean financial info from me…
Any suggestions?
Again, beautiful piece, understandable directions and narrative; very professional video!
Oh thank you so much
