For my father-in-law‘s 80th birthday, we went to the Sagamore at Lake George in New York State. It was incredible. We were there for five days. We went on a boat tour of Lake. George spent most of our time just lounging around them at the pools or swimming actually in the lake. The entire place was incredible so much to do and so little time to do it.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon on Kiawah Island 31 years ago. After spending so many more years on the island we decided to purchase a home there. Best thing ever. If you haven't been to Kiawah Island I suggest you make it your next vacation.
Sandy,,, I live on Kiawah... in your comments about the beach you said you could drive on it. I think you meant this a figure of speech because the beach was wide. You were there at low tide, it isn't always like that. The truth is YOU CAN NOT drive on our beach. Be careful what you tell viewers because they will get the idea they come here and do just that. We work very hard to keep things natural and pristine and have many rules for visitors to abide by. Pamela
Thanks for watching! My first impression of the beach was that it was wide enough to drive on but that doesn't mean you should as you have clearly pointed out. Your hard work on keeping it natural and pristine has paid off.
