  • Koaw shows how to make a special recipe of boilies from start to finish as well as how to ensure that your pop-up boilies actually pop up. Because I'm sure many ask (like I have), "Why won't my pop-up boilies float?"

I use a food grader box to grind my cork wine bottle stoppers. makes a nice cork powder.

I did the boilie thing before...went back to just rolling a bread ball with my fingers and soaking in strawberry jello sauce. Its way easier and faster. The carp around here eat off the bottom and dont seem to like the pop ups. The pink color and sweet smell really brings them in!

Great shots of large fish! You got me so accustomed to Bluegill that these guys look ginormous! Question: why do you mix your concoction by hand instead of using a spoon or even a mixer? Is there a certain feel that you’re going for?

Yeah, these are some big fish! And to answer your question why I don't use a spoon...I guess it just goes faster using hands. Ha!
