I was ABOUT to purchase Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme because I initially LOVED IT. But after testing it again at the store and walking around for an hour, I felt it was too warm and marshmallowy taking away from the luxury kind of scent that I was seeking. I am no longer purchasing it. It smells good but it becomes a skin scent right away and doesn't project very well. On top of that, it seemed more of a bath and body smell. not a designer fragrance smell. I felt the same way about D&G L'impertrise 3. That one smelled great the first time but then after trying it again I realized it smelled just like a fruity body spray from Bath and Body.
I haven't been impressed with D&G so I wasn't sure about the hype. But they're not horrible fragrances and I understand why people love them. I personally just like to smell very complex and different. I also like to pay for what I get.
Thank you for putting us on the fragrance that smells like Brazilian crush!! I know they have a perfume but I've heard it doesn't last at all and it's expensive. I'm considering the express perfume now

I liked the way it smelled on someone else. So I did what I do with fragrances I don't like- I give them away to my extended family in the homeland. Que los aprovechen. I'm thinking of getting rid of L'Homme Ideal Cologne by Guerlain. I blind bought because it's discontinued. I wore it just twice and I don't like it as much as the original EDT and the EDP.

Dior Pure Poison (too laundry clean, I need something w/ more depth)
Narciso Rouge (I prefer the poudree & the regular edp)
Ralph Lauren Woman Intense (prefer the original)
Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Intense (I have too much creamy tropical scents, & who am I kidding? I live in a cold climate)
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir Black Perfect (dries down beautifully like sweet cherried roses, but can’t get past the rubber tires opening)
Bottega Venetta edp (sharp bergamot opening, fades into a leather skin scent too quickly)
I’m pretty proud of myself this month....

I have a problem decluttering perfume! It’s so hard to let them go. Lol I did not like D&G pour Femme at all when I first tried it. By the time I finished an 8ml sample I loved it! So weird how that can happen.
I complete get you! I have a couple that weren’t love at first sniff for me and I end up falling in love w them later!

So appreciate videos like these whereas there are perfumes that are a NO BUENO! And finally someone talks about D&G Pour Femme and it's not so great performance! Had blind bought this as so many TH-camrs had recommended - well on my skin if scent lasted more than 15 min., was impressed. You may have a point as really hot here and maybe a winter perfume.
I totally understand the ones that like them! As we all have diff palettes, climates, body chemistry, etc so I don’t like to say I don’t understand the rave because maybe it works well for others. But unfortunately for me it doesn’t! So I gotta keep people posted and updated, for those that seem to have similar taste to mine :)

Crazy how people haven't subscribed to you. I recently ordered a Montale create your own discovery box for $20 which includes vanilla cake and chocolate greedy scents. I too want to smell like food lol and I wanna see what the whole hype is about soooo fingers crossed >.< ( Maaaaaybe ill experiment and layer it with something else in my collection ) As for the D&G fragrance, i own the intense version and it's something I can't wait to wear in the fall/winter time, it was one of my very first safe blind buys tbh.

Yes-I’m putting a pause on blind buying-justdecluttered some from my collection that I did not like or didn’t perform well- such a waste-if it doesn’t project or last I feel like it’s a waste of money no matter how good it smells-imo-I appreciate when perfume reviews include these two factors
I recently got rid of D&G Pour Femme Intense. It also has longevity issues. I declutter my collection often because I only want to have and wear my favorites. That being said I still have around 50😬 I enjoy your videos and I always love videos on perfume fails because they are helpful and informative!

You’re exactly right about Brazilian Crush. I spray & spray & spray and choke myself out, just for it to disappear after less then an hour. I use the bum bum cream along with it after I bathe but I live in Louisiana and I can not leave my house with bum bum cream on. I’d melt!!

Yes, girl! The FCUK I love but it doesn't last for beans. I keep it for the beach strictly, when you are hot and in direct sunlight, it becomes creamier and so sweet and lovely. The Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme, I just sold on EBAY - It did nothing for me, I smell nothing when I wear it AT ALL but it is so beautiful in the bottle. You are the only other person who mentioned a perfume from the Destination Collection at Express, I actually love them all and they all last on my skin really well. ❤ I have been wanting the deep desire so badly because I love oriental florals but I am noticing we like and dislike similar perfumes, sooo..... LOL

I recently got a decant of Viktor & rolf dancing roses and to be honest im not really liking it 😫 on my skin it smells nice but for some reason on my clothes it smells like hairspray. I'm glad I didn't get a full bottle 😅 im going to wait for fall/winter to see if it would react differently

I tried to like Burberry HER since INTENSE didn’t work but honey... that didn’t work either. I tried it again 2 wks later but the smell still repulses me on my skin.

Just so you know when you can smell it on your clothes but not on your skin that's because it mixes well with your body chemistry, and other people can probably smell it on you. If you like the scent buy the Intense Pour Femme. You have a unique collection, I haven't seen most of the perfumes you have anywhere else. Interesting.

@@ItsMJMaria I don't look at that site. I'm a scentbird member so for like$18 a month I get 2 trial scents, I make the list of what I want them to send me each month. The trial scents aren't the tiny samples, they are the 30 day supply atomizers. So when I find something I love, I buy the bottle. I have 127 bottles right now and have both of the PourFemmes. I too love Dolce. I couldn't part because it doesn't smell sweet on me. It smells soft and rosey on me. We all have different chemistries so scents are different in each of us. One time I have my cousin Estee Lauder Beautiful because it smelled horrible on me. One day she comes over and I'm like damn you smell so good what are you wearing? She was wearing the beautiful, lol. So I've learned never to hate the scent or the person. So if you can spare the funds a trial basis thing like scentbird would be good for you. I wouldn’t have noticed anything about your makeup if you hadn’t mentioned it. This video popped up in my feed and I started to watch it because of perfume reviews, not for your makeup. You look very pretty, and I still don’t see what’s wrong with your makeup, even with you pointing out the flaws, and even if it looked like clown makeup you don’t have to explain or apologize to anyone. A lot of times I just close a video that doesn’t get right to the point.
Disclaimers are made for a reason, glad you didn’t care for the makeup.. but not everyone is you or I or the next person. If a disclaimer doesn’t resonate to you, you ignore it. And if it was made.. it’s for a reason and I’m the one that monitors ALL my comments and I know what I get on the daily. And they are made specifically for those that the shoe fits and that’s it. And if I chose to do so, it’s because I know why I do so. With that being said ironically you didn’t care for the makeup but you did seem to care for the disclaimer. You can’t just please everyone. And if it bothers you, you skip it. Or you click out. Simple.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like Ariana Cloud. It is way to sweet and too much for me it made me feel so nausea. It is an absolute favorite for most and I’m glad I tried before purchasing the more pricey baccarat perfume.
