Actually, that was a crew member who was tasked by the hosts to give flowers to Maurice and Robin. You can clearly see that Robin sets his to the floor while Maurice tries to hold them and play bass simultaneously (later tucking them).
I love the way Maurice arranges his flowers on his guitar, it shows what a great person he was, confirmed by many people today. I love him as much as I love Robin and Barry, although I still wonder where are the flowers for Barry?❤❤❤😊
It dawns on my how little ego Barry has in some ways. His voice is the one most associated with the band, he did most of the writing and since he said the one who brought the song to the table sang it, that meant he commonly sung lead, and yet whenever I see them on stage Robin is in the center where typically the lead is positioned. The only time I think I've seen barry sing from the center was occasionally in music videos
I can’t have enough of them . They’re real and good ordinary people. They just play guitar and sing a song with beautiful voices. They don’t scream, jump or shake hand with crazy crowd on stage like most rock stars did, but they’re the Best in the world!!!♥️♥️♥️

I listened to this very impressive song in 1981/82 and was glad their vocal harmony were back to what I was familiar with their 1960s songs such as "Morning Of My Life", "Melody Fair". I disliked when they turned to disco. But even so, nowadays, listening to several of their disco songs seems alright to me.
Mo was the most social of the brothers, I don't think he ever met a stranger. My friend and I won tickets to a concert of theirs in 1989 or 1991, I can't remember what year. We had backstage passes and got to meet them, my friend had such a crush on Mo. They signed our albums and Barry and Rob were nice but not very talkative but Mo saw my friend was just giddy and gave us both a kiss on our cheek and thanked us for coming to the show and asked how we enjoyed it, needless to say I still wonder if she's ever washed that cheek :)

My opinion is they were the greatest band to to come out of the sixties era . Superior to the Beatles , songs more varied than the Beatles . Also the highlight for me was the music they wrote for the Movie Saturday Night Fever . My all time favourites .
