5:13 if sonic games have taught me anything, its that wearing even one ring is the most powerful armor in the universe
One thing this game definitely did do right is it’s animations. The faces are very expressive, the proportions are easier to work with and the designs are a lot more animator friendly than the original 3D designs, plus the squash and stretch to sonic’s spin dash looks great. also Amy gets to be more of a sonic fangirl, why can’t we get more of that? Also don’t forget the animation on Eggman, with every game, even the bad ones have some really good and satisfying animation on him. The light bobbing when sonic runs, and the attack animations look spot on too. Its a shame that all this good animation is tied to a game that will only be remembered as a mess
Animation quality sucks up close, but otherwise, it was fine for its time.
