2 comments! 1, we're testing removing the Warning screens. They kind of feel pointless to do and it makes the intro longer then it needs to be. With that said, we might being them back in the future. 2, we haven't done Sonic Triggered in awhile, so here's some older videos if you enjoyed this one!

I can’t blame Nathaniel for making a “Triggered” video on this game considering he put it as the #3 entry on his “Top 10 Worst Sonic Games” video from 2017.

I've never been a fan of Secret Rings because of the poor controls, but the level aesthetics and designs were pretty cool at the time. Even the soundtrack is a banger, even to this day. I may not go back to it anymore, but I can see why people do love it.

Secret Rings really triggered me with the motion controls. I understand that the mini games have motion controls in it, but the adventure mode was a little difficult because of it, but other than that, the game was fun!
You can't say it was fun after complaining about the controls.
This game sucks so bad, I'd rather play literally anything else!

I actually loved the motion controls, well for the most part like 90% of the game, would have been better if there was a option for no motion controls
The game was actually fun but the motion controls just ruin everything. The story,Music and The level is really great
The motion controls definitely aren't good but I enjoyed them for what they were. The controls kinda feel like an arcade game in my opinion! Also I prefer the environments, multiplayer and the boss battles more in Secret rings compared to black knight. I've enjoyed both games though.
I played Sonic and the Secret Rings as a young elementary school kid and had fun and never was bothered by anything for the most part.
Yes it was challenging, but childhood me had a blast.

Ngl this is one of my favourite 3D Sonic games. The level design is ok despite the controls, the soundtrack is amazing and I just love the general aesthetic of the game.

Sonic 06 got REALLY bad glitches, while this game got HORRIBLE motion controls.

I own this game as a kid and never knew how to get the hang of controlling sonic in the story mode so the only thing I played in this game was the party mode because it was way easier to control the characters in minigames, and was really fun to play back then.

In the Pterosaur egg mission, the eggs with yellow, green, and/or red spots look a lot like Yoshi eggs.
This bring so much memories and nostalgia, I enjoyed the heck out of this I don't even know why.

The first boss (in the desert) can be completely skipped and you won't notice until you're missing a Ring at the very end of the game (speaking from experience LOL). Still love this game.

At least Sonic and the black knight enables you to use the nunchucks after hearing the complaints.
I do appreciate this game despite the shoehorned motion controls. It is a unique experience and despite some clunky controls, the game is usually generous by giving you unlimited lives and not taking away all your rings by getting hit. I’d argue the graphics look better than that of Sonic Colours too.

No really I spent dozens of hours with this game and was surprised so few people liked it, and how so many other people prefer quickstep crap
Going to be honest, I prefer it over the quickstep and boost stuff. The motion controls aren’t great but at least Sonic still feels like a character and not a race car.
I have Sonic Colours Ultimate, and even on easy levels I die multiple times just because I can’t make out what on Earth is going on due to it being way too fast.
There's a skill you can unlock that reduces the Rings lost (I think?) and Aegis Slider helps make you invincible, I forgot if it was temporary or during the slide but it revolves around that, you already know what to expect when you hear the word Aegis.

This was my favorite Sonic game on the Wii from my childhood, even tho I had bad experiences with this game but it's so nostalgic
Also, fun fact; this game was Sega's first game with motion controls. That's why the controls weren't that good

The way I see this game, it's a very good game with horrible controls. An awesome soundtrack, great levels, at times it gets a little obnoxious with the gimmicks, but that doesn't turn you off from the game itself. Black Knight was an overall improvement though.

I really black knight because the auto accelerate and x y axis stuff just didn't work at all with an analog stick
The crazy thing is Yuji Naka himself showed up this game with Rodea the Sky Soldier, a 3D platformer on the Wii controlled by motion controls that was actually good. Difference being using the IR sensor which was much more accurate than the accelerometer to control the character.
Probably your best video of the year I reckon. I suppose that this being one of the last Triggered videos could be an influence...

The mario party style multiplayer mode blows the regular story mode out of the water. My siblings and I used to play it all the time but never could beat the story mode because the controls are so difficult

Every single video that you put out is truly amazing I love watching every one of your videos been here since day one keep them coming I'll always be here to support and watch your videos.
I played this as a kid and I had a few difficulties with some missions that made me frustrated but I never felt like I had any real issues with the game but also I was never able to beat erazer djinn. I like the story and the setting tho if only sega did more with the storybook series of sonic. Plus the opening of the game is one of the best sonic intros. Sega has a great way of making cutscenes with like unleashes intro and black knights and secret rings especially for all being before 2010.

Some parts of this game can be pretty funny/terrifying if you know Arabic. Sometimes it seems like the devs just threw words that kinda made sense together to sound cool.

If you watch from the sonic playlist, the last video (sonic 06 triggered) nathaniel turns into some super sayian or something and then it turns into this video and the intro explodes. I think what NB was trying to do was make it seem like he exploded of rage which is a really nice touch.

I play this one of my cousins wii and i would say the gameplay looks quite well as a new concept for a new sonic game, but i enjoy playing the party mode with friends and have a good time!! It's a good thing of the open world game coming this year!!!
