German's have an amazing work discipline. They are very precise in time, measurements and cleanliness. I would not be surpised if the one's coming out from that Giga factory is better than the one here in America.

I'm living in the area where the giga factory is build. And its quite impressive how fast things go compared to other projects. I guess the impact on the area will be massive and i hope for the better.

I haven't heard about the 6 months delay before, but two weeks ago the delivery date for Model Y here in Denmark was changed from "After summer 2021" to "Spring 2022" so that could explain it...

Strange to say about a craft that big, but they are clearly the most likely to do it. Expect orbital flight around 2021Q4-2022Q1. Orbital refueling demonstrated maybe 2022Q3. 2023 Trips around moon (already paid for and seems likely). To land on the moon in 2024, they will have to do much the same as they will be doing for at least 2 years landing on Earth, except in 1/6 gravity with multiple small rocket engines 2/3 the way up the length.
Easier to "balance", less debris kick back, no weather.

Tesla chose Germany because their work ethic most closely matches the Chinese. If he had chosen France or Italy or the UK his factory would be experiencing cars that break down easily or production delays due to worker strikes for less work and more holidays. Besides, Germany's high craftsmanship in car production is worldwide acknowledged.

However, the wisest thing that should be on every smart individuals list is to invest in different streams of income that are not dependent on the government to generate money, especially now business and investing is the easiest way to make money regardless of what party makes it to the oval office.

Will this factory make Tesla’s cheaper for the eu?
Yes. The significant tariff will be eliminated. The cars are supposed to have Front And Back cast assemblies making production cheaper and the 4680 cell (possibly the real cause of the delay) will be about 50% cheaper KWh per KWh. The battery represents a good chunk of cost. Then reduced cost of transport form China vs higher labor cost... so.... overall. It should make it cheaper.
When the train gets you to work faster, why use your car.
Mistake you made: Tesla doesn't build gigafactories in 18 months....more like under 12 months.
There has been no delay, and berlin is not as affordable as you state but I think most workers will actually be living in the south-east anyway and maybe not in Berlin itself.

It is literally illegal to work 12 hours shifts in Germany. 10 hours max plus 3x15 minutes breaks.

Tesla is already working on the $25,000 car by about 2023. This is made possible by 4680 battery with many of the benefits (and much greater life span) than Solid state batteries only 2 or more years earlier.

I highly doubt robots will put us out of work. If you think about it, who’s going to make the robots if robots were designed to create one specific thing?
Humans are always upgrading technology each year, therefore robots would also need to be constantly upgraded. Humans are always there and easy to teach on the go.
That’s why many people learn better OJT rather than reading just a book, because you’ll learn nothing. Robots can never replace a human, though a robot that was designed to be fully aware of itself as well as its surroundings may possibly be able to simply download information and just understand it a little better than humans.
Which many people believe would lead to runaway intellect causing the AI to be smarter, more understanding of our reality and it’s own, realizing humans are scared of everything and may see the AI as a threat, at which the AI would do what is natural and fight to exist, and if it knows a way to escape, it will use that tactic and it will always be ahead of the human.
